Wow, I just calculated the price difference of what I bought at HLJ as opposed to BBTS and not counting shipping cost I saved $190 on these guys. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-bee.gif)

I won't be any where near that. Depends on how much you ordered, but I preordered the entire RID lineup and I'm thinking shipping will be $30 to $60 for the first set, and probably a bit less for the second.

Remember these guys come out in two different months and will ship separately. They won't ship together (one shipment for May releases the other for June).

I almost always go with EMS. If you're ordering any more than 1 figure or something large it's usually worth it compared to SAL.

Since I've gotten a lot of questions about this, here are my orders from HLJ in the last 360 days. All used EMS shipping, you can get a rough estimate on how much you might be looking for in regards to shipping charges based on this. I have a lot of very large orders and a lot of orders that are just one or two figures. Looking quickly the most expensive shipping was 8500 ish yen, which was for some huge orders (which I think is $120 these days).

I doubt it...well at least I hope not. If you look at Randy's order history, the only transaction that cost him 8500 for shipping had roughly 12 toys and one of those was a Masterpiece figure.

No it should be much less if it's just 1 Voyager and 5 Deluxes.

I'd say between 4000 Yen and 6000 Yen roughly. I'm sure it might even be cheaper if 4 Deluxes were just 2,500 yen and 2 Voyagers were 2,300 yen.

I think once it reaches certain thresholds for the size of the box and/or weight it reaches a pretty set price.

I'd have to see if I have any orders older than that (like for early United or Henkei) that are around that size.

The 8,500 yen orders I purchased were very large Masterpiece figures or a ton of United figures with at least doubles of each.

I think something like the order with Striker Optimus and the 2 EZ Collection boxes (which was 5,440 Yen) is more likely.

I wish I could tell if Bulkhead was a new mold or the same as the FE version, because then I could cancel him on HLJ and get one with extra minicon.

In their promo shots they used the show's CGI models for the molds they don't have photos of (Arcee, Ratchet and Bulkhead), Blacked out the new voyagers(Starscream and Optimus), and used toys for the ones Hasbro has released images of or is an FE toy(Soundwave, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, Terracon Cliff and That is deluxe Megatron as HLJ has him at deluxe price). Just anoter piece of evidence saying Bulkhead is getting a new Voyager toy.

And that just means I have to get FE Bulkhead still somehow, because I have no idea what this new mold looks like. Maybe I can cancel FE Cliffjumper because the Zombie version is mostly the same. Decisions decisions.

Nah. Like BBTS, they're a big enough store that they can afford to defer payment until the product is in stock.
