I don't know what Takara is doing, or why, but I love it so much.

Nice. Well, I'm not sure about the chameleon/axe thing, and Bumblebee's double sword looks silly in sword mode, but otherwise they're pretty cool.

Names: Optimus Prime Blaster, Bumblebee Sword, Zad (lizard), and Cob (cobra).

So, how good are capsule toys in general? Is this going to look more like a Kabaya gum kit than a minicon? Has this been done before with TFs?
Not that it'll stop me getting them(That could be price and difficulty.), but I'm a bit curious. This post has been edited by Cabooceratops: Jan 31 2012, 03:54 PM -------------------- QUOTE I'm bad at puns and not much good at anything else! |

It depends on how much they charge for them.
It's not like the 25-50 cent machines here. You can have $5-10 machines in Japan. -------------------- |

So if they only come in one color I think I'd be fine. Man, I'm not planning on getting into Prime, but I do love me all of these targetmaster minicons. I really hope to see them released on their own Stateside.

I wonder how much they'd have to charge for blind-packed Minicons in the U.S.
I keep seeing stuff like the Lego and Mega Bloks figures sold that way and I think it'd be kinda cool to have Transformers in that niche too. |

Well, Hasbro has dipped their toes in that market with the Blindbag Miniponies, so it's possible unless Hasbro has already stated otherwise. -------------------- QUOTE I'm bad at puns and not much good at anything else! |

In parts and paint app terms these can't be far off the cost of the Mega Bloks Halo spartans, so they certainly feel like they'd be doable at that price. Phazer |

The Cobra looks like it might transform into Knock Out's Cattle Prod.
