I like that Over-Run's box has a space for Runamuck. Nice touch indeed!

Kudos to Fun Pub for listening to the fans and adding a spot for Runamuck while also being able to cover it up with the bio card.
I miss the black around Drift's eyes. I don't recall if other things have changed on him. Randy -------------------- ![]() |

I don't really have much interest in an SG Drift as it is, though I may still pre-order him. Just not right away. I don't think there will be a huge run, so if it can wait a week or two I'll pick him up as a Classics Knockout (Even though it doesn't have the same resemblence it did when it was first shown), because I like the Knockout character and doubt he's going to get a Classics the same way Lugnut did.

EXCLUSIVE Over-Run and Shattered Glass Drift available for Pre-order early this week! (snip) I don't know if you can answer this question or not, but I'll give it a try... I get that Over-Run is a name required for trademark reasons. That is how the toy has to be sold. What I'm not sure I get is why it follows that the name has to be used on not only the packaging, but the Tech Specs. Surely the Tech Specs could have used the real name? Or, if not, why not? You're not selling the Tech Specs! (And, I actually ask the same in regard to the packaging, since you're not using the package to sell from, as if on a shelf at a brick-and-mortar store. The only use of the name in actual trade is online...) -------------------- |

Like if Bandai produced a Gundam who on their website was listed as OP-83, but on the packaging was called Optimus Prime. Officially it might be called OP-83, but the packaging is infringing on Hasbro's trademark/copyright. Also the techspecs and box are part of the complete package you are selling, not just the toy. |

Woo, a spot for Runamuck! I like that.
Not that any of my BotCon/Club boxes actually HAVE any guys in them currently, since it's easier to just ziplock bag them and throw them in a tub with everyone else, but that's still an awesome touch. -------------------- |

QUOTE Drift will come with both his swords AND two guns. The first time this mold has been offered with a mix of both! Meaning he won't have the big sword he's depicted as having on the packaging, That's kind of false advertizing. |

That empty slot has just made me seriously considering getting Runabout to go along with Runamuck, which I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to get. Retirement home is just around the corner, Cybertron Runamuck!

I like SG Drift quite a bit, and although the Run twins look cool, I'll never be able to own them.
Still, nice figures, nice packaging. -------------------- ![]() Created by Smitty! |

I like the Run twins an a lot -- I think they're an inspired use of the mold, and the end result is spot-on.
SG Drift does nothing for me. |

So, who's parked in front of the net obsessively already?
I've got a kid's dentist appointment tonight at 5pm and story time at the library tomarrow between 10 and 11:30am and I already have "What if they go up for sale then" agita... Well, about Over Run at least, Driftpool would be a pass for me even at retail. -ZacWilliam, I know they have to wait for the ok, but a little more of a window than "soon" would be really nice... Also the techspecs and box are part of the complete package you are selling, not just the toy. I'm not sure I buy that last sentence of explanation, but would welcome more information to support it. Although my original question was intended to include the package, I can see the possible explanation for that part, but I still can't figure why the Tech Specs have to fall in that same problem. If the toy were packaged with Tech Specs that had a different name, how would that be a potential violation of someone else's trademark?
