Couldn't they do Run-a-bout instead or will that not get around the problem?

Any trademark that would require a check by Hasbro Legal (whether it was due to age or other reasons) would have delayed the toys. So to keep the toys on schedule, a name from the past couple years was reused. And this is of course just for the toy. Anything that has to do with the character in fiction will still call him "Runabout". -------------------- |
