YAY! Over the $5000 hump!

We're inching closer to last year's grand total, $6358.98. Can we get there?

At my request EqD put a shout out to the Drive in the Nightly Roundup; EqD confirmed for total bros? I think so!

Threw a few more bucks in. Here's hoping the last minute push is a good one (like it tends to be)!

We're going to go ahead and push back the deadline until Wednesday at midnight. We're not to $8000 yet, and even if we don't eventually get there, we want to give ourselves the best possible chance to do it! Let's see how we can do with another 3 days!

The posts at the beginning say we can use Amazon or Paypal right? How do we do the Amazon and which one takes less in fees?

We had to get rid of the Amazon payments due to their policies on donations. The fees were virtually the same though.

If you have a bank set up for direct withdrawal or you already have money in your Paypal, I believe it doesn't take any fees if you send money directly to Galen's account ( grafferty@comcast.net ) using one of those two means.

Alright, I should be all caught up on the emails now, too. Which also means that as of now, the total on the widget here is correct. WOW!!

Also, one last call - is anybody else out there interested in attending the Gala next Saturday night in Providence, RI? A couple of people contacted me, but I wanted to be sure there wasn't additional interest?

Alright, this is the last day, the last 24 hours. The honest-to-goodness final push to see how much more we can get.

As I said, even if we don't hit $8000, we've done an incredible job so far, and have absolutely come out to support this great cause. But I still do want to see what a last-minute push does! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Well, I can't put any more funds in myself, but I posted a blurb on my Tumblr which goes directly to my facebook page... Not like I have a lot of followers or anything, but it might help draw in some extra donations.

Same here: figured I should at least match my donation from last year.

Hopefully next year I'll have gotten my act together to the point where I can raise it.
