How come the baby flies better than scootaloo? Smaller bodies. While neither should technically be able to fly (see the flying brick), the proportions are more in scale with one another. It's probably an innate thing they lose when they pick up the ability to walk on clouds, a survival mechanism until they can survive in the pegasi cities. They then have to relearn it when their wings have developed at young-adulthood. Pumpkin Cake on the other hand, floats via telekinesis, and her small body size allows her to magically manipulate her body, when she grows she probably won't be able to fly or phase herself through objects, but who knows when it comes to Unicorns. |
