I know this thread is a bit early, but I'm looking forward to the new episode a lot. These waits are annoying!

Maybe they died in a horrible apple stampede? I thought this was the drinking episode with flim and flam, or is that coming up later?

I always figured that out of everybody, the Apple parents were the most likely to have actually dies in the show.

Well I certainly didn't expect this episode to tell the history of how Ponyville was founded. Or that Granny Smith was one of the original founders. Great stuff!
