So, I was at Walmart earlier. To my delight, there was still a palette-load of PCC Ten-Dollar packs.

Except one.

One was a Salvage ripped from its 5-pack by some bunghole who probably just wanted the Dinobots, SpastOVERRUN or Steamhammer he was attached to for ten bucks, but didn't want Salvage.

There were PLENTY of other options like Sledge, Icepick or Skyhammer attached to either Steamhammer or the Dinobots. But nope, they didn't want Salvage.

I took pity on him. So I brought him to the cashier, where I explained what happened and she took the not for resale sticker off and he rang up.

Salvage is now sitting on my desk, still pouting after his ordeal, but hey. Dude's safe and not sent wherever unsellable Transformers go.

And he and Bomb-Burst get to hang out with the llllllladies.

I take pity on poor, abandoned TFs too. Especially ones I find at car boot sales. I just can't leave them behind.

Does that qualify him as a "rescue"?

That's awesome. I dunno why anyone would kick that toy to the curb, he's the last PCC that I've really struggled to find.

Both of this for me too.

I would like to find a pallette of leftover BF PCC packs myself. Turned up nothing at my usual Walmart today, spent some time in the garden center looking at many Hasbro boxes too.

Ah, your spark's in the right place. I bought my DotM Megatron, because it looked like someone had tried to half open one of the side flaps on his package. I bought him because I couldn't stand the idea of him being sent to toy oblivion, over that.

Good show sir!

I too rescued a salvage, only for the sake of the completist in me, but he came home the other day along with the dinobots, who now sit in the "Awaiting resale" pile. Salvage meanwhile (Or as this one is know, the REAL Mudslinger, has ben given new limbs and chance to survive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

I found a BW Depth Charge at a outdoors flea market several years ago. I thought it looked like a TF, but I was completely sure until I looked him up.

He's missing his tail and discs, though. Do they ever pop up on Ebay without Depth Charge himself?

I've got a tail and a stack of discs for DC in my box of spares I'd be able to trade/sell.

there was an armada demolisher that sat around my walmart for a good couple years, long enough to hit an actual decent clearance price. poor lil guy was all alone (he was the only tf in the clearance aisle) and had dust on his package from sitting so long that my heart just went out to him and had to bring him home

I felt the same pity toward the last RiD Mega-Octane at the same Walmart I got Salvage from. Bought him, of course.

Oddly enough, I don't feel the same pity toward the RotF Deluxes at the TRU.

I have a weak spot for Barricade toys, so I bought a legends recon Barricade that has been sitting around at a stationery shop a few blocks from home. However, I did not have enough cash to purchase the spider man figure that was his "prison mate"

Well, I don't have money for it right now, but I'm happy that tails and discs can be found without having to buy another Depth Charge.

Thanks, though.
