well, the ad pictures Double-Clutch and Smolder, so that'll be disappointing. If it turns out to be some of the later molds people've had problems finding, might be better for them. I've got 'em all, tho, so meh.

I'm willing to roll the dice on that one.

I know my store got a lot of late release/hard to find stuff when Hasbro gave them the last "unsold pile of toys" back in 2009. Either way, I skipped enough of PCC to a gander worth it. Here's hoping for some final wave commanders slipping in.

A Walmart near where I live has several of the last wave of 5 packs, so it's possible they're getting some of the later toys.

None of the Walmarts near me have had any PCCs for long months now.

I wonder if they'll ship in more for this?

-ZacWilliam, that seems weird given how long it took to get rid of them...

If anyone spots a Heavytread, I'm still looking for one. Just not enough to deal with black friday mobs myself.

Pretty much the same in my case. I'm not particularly worried, considering I just recently managed to track down all the PCCs I was missing, but still, count this as a surprise.

Is it wrong that I'm kinda hoping these are limited to the earlier releases, just so that I don't feel stupid for spending close to a hundred bucks to track down the four guys I was still missing?

I promise it won't be worth it. Especially for the big items. They'll have *maybe* 2-5 of them in stock. The ad is really just to get you in the door so that you'll buy stuff anyway to justify the headache.

Makes me wish I thought any of those other than Skyhammer were worth buying.

-ZacWilliam, Walmarts got my attention more with the likely hollow possibillity of latter PCCs...

Actually, on a sort of related note...

How is this going to work for Walmarts that already are open 24 hours/day? Granted it's Thanksgiving, so maybe they will close for some hours (or the whole of Nov 24) before opening again at 12:01? Will people be waiting in-store or outside for the buys?

In 24-hour stores, generally the Black Friday stuff is only found on pallets and other displays; those get wrapped in plastic in the back before being brought out to the floor. Once the stockers have brought them out, employees are posted in each department to ward off the customers (who can and do crowd around them, but aren't allowed to touch). On cue, the workers slice off the plastic wrap and the hordes descend upon the items.

Last year the Wal-Mart here did not let people down the isles. They had employes posted at each isle and the customers had to tell them what they wanted. Said item would get tagged some how and then brought to the front. I was in Afghanistan at the time but Mrs. Smitty was telling me about it.

I only ever got Searchlight and Sledge, so I might brave the local Wal-Mart to see if they get any.

I've got to be out anyway to do the paper route, and so if I'm quick I might be able to be in and out before the head carrier arrives.

Target's opening has been moved back to 1 AM on Black Friday. Apparently some states have laws about not allowing anyone in the building during the holiday, so we can't stay in past midnight Wednesday to set up, thus the hour to actually get the sale items ready. Wal-Mart doesn't mind paying the fines, but Target does, apparently.

Haven't been Jeremy since....4th grade?
