Seeing as I just added to it, is the running gag in Hardhead's IDW fiction captions a reference to something specific?

Seeing as I just added to it, is the running gag in Hardhead's IDW fiction captions a reference to something specific? Appears to be rooted straight in his G1 bio. -------------------- |

My god. And they tried SO HARD to hide their identities from the world, too. Although I'll admit, I rather liked Rik Thomas' "generic bad guy" voice, as corny as it was. With better writing and co-stars it might not have been so bad. -------------------- Hey, check out one of my sites!

I'll tell you one thing, it makes it a lot harder to make fun of the dubs when you can suddenly put a name and identity to one of the guys behind them!

Brilliant stuff! I'm assuming that's a quote from one of their dubs...? would anybody be interested in seeing the transformers Season 5 episodes with the powermaster prime puppet. Definitely! I've only ever seen the same couple of clips on multiple sites. I think Zobovor had some audio captures and transcripts of the Prime/Tommy wraparounds, but to date no whole episode has appeared online, which is probably something of an achievement in this day and age. |

S5 Episode 1 can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVwR5Zr0goQ Great stuff. I loved seeing the opening credits with a mix of movie scenes, and commercial animation, like for Double Targetmasters and Pretenders. |

I'd say those dubs are more 'infamous' amongst the fandom than straight 'famous'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

So, how did this guy do a tour in Vietnam while in the British Special Forces when the UK didn't participate in the Vietnam war? Does tour in Vietnam refer to something else? Or I am wrong and there were UK special forces involved in the war? -------------------- ![]() |

Wikipedia says that British forces occupied Vietnam for France in 1945-46. Thomas doesn't seem that old, though.

Silly! Powermaster Optimus Prime can generate gravity and a life sustaining atmospheric envelope around his body. Okay, that's also silly, but more believable. This post has been edited by mignash: Nov 25 2011, 02:26 PM |

If someone were to buy a copy of the magaziiine.... -------------------- |
