The other topic seems to have disappeared. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-screamer.gif)
Anyway, I just saw this weeks episode "Sight Beyond Sight." The Good: It seems to have remembered the over-arching quest of finding the stones. All the Thundercats are still getting time in the spot light like last week. Wiley Kit saves the day with her flute...who have thunk it. Lion-O learn more powers of the Sword of Omens The Bad: "Whiskers" is back. I was hoping we'd gotten rid of it from last week. The whole short memory of the elephants was an overly long joke. It got old really fast. -------------------- |

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Again, no "whiskers," which I can only see as being a good thing. I must say though, the whole thing was painfully predictable.
HIGHLIGHT to view: I knew the moment the sword refused to fight the spirits from the firewood that they weren't the bad guys. They didn't even seem to do any attacking even after Tygra took the first shot. Then the people from the academy stepped in, and keeping in mind that the sword refused to fight the spirits, I saw no reason to trust the academy students over the spirits. Then I saw the paper mill and it was like "yup! They're the bad guys." Nice episode over all. Pretty magic FX. I'm still liking the non-LionO-centric episodes that seem to be the norm now after the hiatus. And anytime I don't have to hear the whole "whiskers" thing, I'm happy. But yeah, when you can figure out the plot twist in the first 5 minutes of an episode, that's not a good thing. -------------------- |
