Sigh

Anyone else want to remember when TNA didn't suck so much?

Anyone here play Fire Pro Wrestling?

I spent three hours last night on my GBA game (the first one) updating all the rosters, moving wrestlers to whatever promotions they were in now, or if they were deceased or fully-retired from the wrestling biz to the Legends section, which involved a LOT of looking up on Wikipedia for info.

By the end of it, I got pretty sad at just how many performers I had to move to the Legends section. We lost a lot of guys in those ten years....

(also, if anyone has a full formula for Ted Dibiase?)

STRONGLY urge you, If you have a PS2, to invest in Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. With the exception of having no WWE characters, it's everything the GBA version is and more. Deepest wrestling video game avalible. Almost a sim, in fact. I love No Mercy, but it's a totally different experience.

STAY AWAY FROM THE XBOX 360 GAME. It has more in common with the POJ that Hogan has coming out than real Fire Pro.

Joe is Samoan. Thats a common problem with Samoan wrestlers.

...is the 360 one even out? I haven't heard about it in some time; I thought it fell off the radar.

Touch passion when it comes your way, it's rare enough has it is. Don't walk away by when it calls you by name.

Love isn't a committment, or a burden, or whatever you think it is... It's a feeling you have for someone. A feeling that words can never explain. Whenever you would put your life on the line to protect that person, that's love. Whenever you stay awake all night thinking about that person, that's love. When you're with that person, and the minutes seem like hours, that's love. It's never love when you have to think about it.

I imported the Japanese version a long time ago, but I rarely use it anymore because I'm never sure what leads where anymore.

No even Rocky runs to fat if he isn't working out constantly and smartly. Seriously I do remember a time with fat Rocky in the ring.

Derrick Bateman, Percy Watson and Darren Young have been added to the SD roster.

Reunite the South Beach Boys and add Brodus to the pack and we're GOLDEN.

But yeah, put the 4 of them together and you got a great team set up.

What WWE really needs to do is give Percy Watson the glasses, so that he can have the VISION baby. You know what I'm sayin? If you do then gimme a oh yeah. uh uH UH.... OH YEAH!!!

BTW
The company need to drop the "game show competition" gimmick on NXT and call it what it is. A try out for new talent and un-used establish talent. Or FCW 2.0.

If you've been watching NXT lately, they did.

Regal's the GM but they don't call him as such. Striker remains host.

Reks & Hawkins, Kaitlyn, Johnny Curtis and plenty of other underutilized talent are on NXT, actually having storylines.

Regal's promised a new direction for NXT under his leadership, so NXT is unofficially the third brand.

Which works for me just fine; I'm just glad they seem to be admitting that the competition aspect is a farce...

...though they didn't outright dismiss it, did they?

Nope, but adding two of its contestants to the SD roster recently points to the end of that competition.

Ugh. Goddammit. Cena's actually no-selling Rocky's promos. THAT IS NOT HOW WRESTLING WORKS, CENA.

The much-advertised Teddy Long-run Raw was run of the mill. I'm guessing the Ace-run SD will actually matter.

Next week, THE ROCK CONCERT.

And Cena raps, I guess.
