Speaking of the GN-X, Samuel Decal is selling a purple LED unit for those of you who own the MG.

Looks worthwhile to me.

Huh? There's no such thing as a purple LED.

Not really accurate, anyways. IIRC, the chest condensers were never shown illuminated (and the MG certainly doesn't have any text in the chest, unlike the Exia), and the drive cone should be red like all the other GN[Tau] Drives.

Well I dunno, it glows purple.

You don't HAVE to buy it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif)

Just sayin' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif) .

For purple glows, it's usually a paired red and blue LED. But given the small space involved in the Gundam lighting units, I'm surprised the pair could actually be crammed in that space properly.

The other issue there is that blue LEDs are so much more intense than red ones, the light usually doesn't blend well, with the blue simply overpowering the red (and I think those high-end model Lightsabers, specifically Mace Windu's, used a diffuser screen of somesort to blend the LED lights as well). So I'm rather curious about the electronics setup in those, if the guy actually managed to cram a resistor in there as well or something.

I've got a red unit from my Trans-Am Exia to give to my GN-X, so I'm cool on that front.

D'oh, speaking of Trans-Am Gundams, I totally forgot to pre-order the MG Trans-Am Raiser. Being a web-shop exclusive, of course the after-market prices are insane.

Luckily, BBTS still has a pre-order open, so at least I'm paying $160 for it (at a maybe ~$30 markup), and not $300 off of eBay...

So during the summer riots, a major Sony warehouse that stored various CDs and DVDs got torched. Beez's stock was in there and the result is there are now no more copies of Gundam Wing Remastered Part 1. Bad news for me, a guy who as I've said has finally been getting around to buying the UK complete collections. But the real sting? People have started putting copies on ebay for prices like £225.

Class act, guys. Fans are being denied copies thanks to looters who grabbed what they wanted and then set fire to everything else. Your gross profiting from this is much the same.

View at your own risk.

They don't seem to gel with what we already know.

From what a friend told me, they're likely true. Bandai released an image of a Zedas trading card and forgot to blur the text for a few hours. Fans translated it and it includes various info, including the apparent pilot.

Personally, am I the only one getting tired of the way GG does things? Between posting spoilers with little warning, dedicating huge posts to custom jobs he likes and now the uneeded unboxing videos, I'm really missing the likes of Gunota Headlines and Ngee Khiong.

Uh

She's actually been heavily paired with Yamada from working!! who she has way more in common with?

Bit slow on the uptake there Hellcat.

I'm sorry? As far as I'm concerned, Yurin has always made me think of Hinata. The fact that I haven't associated her with a character/show I've never even heard of isn't a 'slow uptake'. We don't all spend our time trying to find counterparts like the Tohou fandom do.

I didn't think I was being rude, but if it came off that way I apologize.

However Working!! is a currently-airing show in its' second season and is insanely popular as well, and Yamada looks way more like Yurin then Hinata does.

Fanart reflects this, which is what I was pointing out.

It's understandable that the western fandom would compare her to Hinata due to lack of exposition to loli chinese dress girls in anime, also the hime cut.

But yeah, it's pretty much a running joke on /a/ to post a picture that's ambiguously Yamada or Yurin and say 'Best girl of the season.'

It's fine, it's just ... not everyone keeps up with everything at all times, especially those things that run along genres they're not interested in. As HellCat pointed out, he's never even heard of the show before, and while I know of it by name I couldn't be asked to recognize a single character or element from it. I imagine you'll find the same thing applies to a lot of folks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif)

Not everyone hangs around /a/ or whichever to know this, either. Some, myself included, actively avoid it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif)

AGE is doing quite well in ratings and home media pre-orders. Apparently AGE's lowest rating so far was still higher then any for Geass R2.

However, there's a snag- apparently, it isn't kids watching.

Not sure how they compile this stuff but apparently it's older fans watching and kids are barely interested. One anecdotal remark I've heard claims more women over 50 are watching then 12 year old boys. There are also reports shops are discounting the toys/kits because they simply aren't moving.

The following are alleged figures for the problem
Gundam shows (average viewership by kids under 12) -
Gundam Seed - 6.36%
SD Gundam Force - 4.50%
Gundam Seed Destiny - 4.14%
Gundam 00 - 2.33%
Gundam 00 Second Season - 2.06%
SD Gundam Sangokudan - 5.26%
Gundam AGE - 1.30%

In more direct news, we've started getting word on the phase 2 stuff including AGE-2 Normal. So, was that leak a while back right or complete nonsense?
HIGHLIGHT to view:

Turns out it was in fact legit. There's been some work done but this is basically what we saw a while back, basically crossing AGE-1 mildly with 00 Raiser and Gundam Sefer Rasiel.

We also have a look at a new unit called the Adele, which is basically a Genoace with improvements take from the AGE-1 such as the shield.
