so, I went to change my name to Ran Yakumo and

apparently I can't because there's a space?

how long has this been a thing we couldn't do and

why is it now a thing we can't do?

Try it now.

Heads up though -- the number of times someone can change their name per period of time is going to be drastically reduced in the coming update.

It is one of our most 'complained about' features and was only intended to be used sparingly.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) I'm the last person who would ever say that. Thanks Kal, I have no idea why it wouldn't work for me when I de-ponied

Is there an easy way to backtrack who is who? That's why it irks me: I understand that there are good reasons (besides fads (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif) ) to change your screen name. Problem is when we get a big fad and suddenly half the board has new names, avatars, and signatures. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-megs.gif) While some people tend to stay on theme at least so that new and old names are kind of obvious, it is so tedious having to check people's profiles.

Didn't they drop that alignment? Neutrality always seemed like a farce (the smart choice, but a farce (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif) ). I preferred systems like GURPS anyway where those kind of behaviors and dictated by Disadvantage choices. That way I can be a Charitable character with a strong Sense of Duty towards others... except for the whole Murder Addiction. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

They combined it with Lawful Evil, into just Evil, but nobody pays attention to the modified alignment system, at least that I've ever played with or spoken to.

Pft, everyone knows drow are all Chaotic Good rebels fighting against their evil society. And they all dual-wield scimitars.

Building on this, is there any chance that the "Member's Display Name History" item from the profile could be added to the drop-down menu that appears when you click on someone's username? Saving that one step would make it a lot easier to deal with, I think.
