That's why I say Louisville.. not just because I live here but because it's, has its own large airport, is cheap.. has more stuff to do than Lexington and is central.

The downtown convention center could easily accommodate Botcon and there's lots of hotels. As well as 4th Street Live which is a lot of bars and eateries within walking distance.

If it's good enough for the Kentucky Derby, it's good enough for Botcon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif)

I'd love it to be in Louisville. My parents and siblings live there, so it's almost as good as being in Pasadena for the "in my own backyard" thing.

Which is also why I don't push it too hard. I've been absurdly fortunate already.

Is Vegas off the table? Always seems like there's cheap airfare to Vegas.

What happens at BotCon stays at BotCon. And so TFWiki was never able to complete the appropriate Fiction sections. And none of us could being our exclusive toys home.

I wish they'd bring it to England (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-screamer.gif)

As i've seemed to miss every botcon because of a rather large pool of water....I have made the decision to fly over and join the fun in 2012 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Wtf, you live in Louisville? Why haven't you ever joined any of the KY get-togethers? I know we set them up on the TFW boards, but still. Last one was awesome, we held it at Megamus' house, probably had 15-20 people at one point. My ass attends them, and I live south of Nashville!

Anywho's, I just hope it's somewhere I can drive this next year. I'm a little burnt out on flying the past few years. I'll go either way (barring unforeseen circumstances like in 2010 with the whole "oh the baby's going to be born on the first day of BotCon"), but I always hate playing the "fit everything into luggage Tetris style" (because I'm too cheap to ship things).

I'm surprised we haven't heard anything yet - well, not really, but I want to be surprised. You'd think after SEVEN YEARS of these things FP would finally have things ironed out to the point where they could announce the next-year's convention early enough. Then again, according to Pete on the club boards, Hasbro can hold them back, or something, from being able to pick where to have it earlier.

I don't really get out to too many other sites these days. But if I knew about it/was invited to it I would go.

Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, or Victoria would be awesome . . . but not likely.

I'm surprised it's never been in Boston. It's a major conference hub and a big college population that would add up to walk-ins.

I personally think it's about time that it was back in the Midwest. Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, somewhere in that area. Preferably Indiana, but that's just personal preference.

I'm good with Boston. I miss the birthing grounds sometimes. Well that and I love to confuse my poor trooper with WICKED fun AH's inserted everywhere for no apparent reason.
