My preorder from March has finally been fulfilled! I got in at the old price, now they have them listed for 20 bucks more ($75)...yikes. Seems there are only 14 left in stock. -------------------- "I am stronger than you know."

Seems there are only 14 left in stock. As soon as I saw BBTS put them back up on the front page for pre-order almost a couple months back, I put in an order. I followed the ebay auctions for a while, and unfortunately, $75 + shipping is cheap compared to those. Plus I'd have to deal with overseas shipping. If I had known way back when, I would bought them from BBTS when they were first released. Primus knows I had the opportunity. edit: My pre-order's been filled too. Yeah, they are gauging the price a bit here, but honestly who knows what Hasbro will do with those molds. Look at the seekers and how many years it took Hasbro to get them all out.
If I was interested in those two, I would probably still spring for this if I were you. Probably still going to be a good deal in the long run. -------------------- What is singature?

Whether we see this mold released outside of Japan depends on when they bring the Scout class back. But that could take years.

Whether we see this mold released outside of Japan depends on when they bring the Scout class back. It doesn't really. Hasbro does lots of multi-figure pack sets, especially around the holidays. The contents of those don't have to comply to any of the regular size classes. They could very easily do a "Sherman Dam Attack" box that contains Frenzy, Rumble, and Ravage vs. Hound and Windcharger or any smaller combination thereof. -ZacWilliam, Hasbro uses the size classes to breakdown the regular line but they put out plenty of products outside that general framework (scouts to Big Lots type discount stores for another example). They just need to decide they want to and/or find a store that would take it as an exclusive. That could happen literally anytime. Though don't let Hasbro know that Rumble (or red Frenzy) wasn't on that episode. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-wildride.gif) Randy -------------------- ![]() |

They look like crap compared to the third-party cassettes. I don't know why anyone would spend so much as a dime on these.

They look like crap compared to the third-party cassettes. I don't know why anyone would spend so much as a dime on these. Proper altmodes? Proper quality and safety testing? Arms that actually transform into piledrivers, instead of being partsfomery bits? For the 5$ difference between the two, I'd go with Takara's. They look like crap compared to the third-party cassettes. I don't know why anyone would spend so much as a dime on these. I have the complete opposite opinion. I think the official ones are a ton better than those tiny little things that turn into guns. Plus lots of people broke theirs. Randy -------------------- ![]() |
