Wal-Mart has the new Transformers right next to the Cars stuff, and I've noticed that the Cars line now features several characters based on two cars I have long admired: the AMC Pacer and AMC Gremlin. There's just something charming about these cars; something very distinct from what we see on the road today. When will Hasbro close this AMC gap? And when will they advance this arms race by introducing a character based on the mighty AMC Javelin?

I designed a Gremlin TF once, but never did the full drawing....

I want a Le Car. I have fond memories of that car from my childhood. Ok, I have memories of it.

"GREAT VISIBILITY!" and "PASSENGER DOOR SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN DRIVER'S SIDE!" The Javelin though would be a cool one. My step-dad had a Javelin when I was a kid and I definitely liked it. -------------------- ![]() Eventually, I think. - Temp |

Oh, I thought this thread was going to be about how much better Breaking Bad is than anything else on television.

Oh, I thought this thread was going to be about how much better Breaking Bad is than anything else on television. I thought it was going to be about the live-action movies performing significantly differently at a particular chain of cinemas from how they perform elsewhere. -------------------- |

The real fact of the matter is why would Bay utilize a defunct automaker who couldn't give him free stuff to drive?

You know I'm completely floored that Bay missed the boat on custom car shops for Decepticons. So what if the main companies didn't like the idea of their car being a villain? Get custom shops to do what Hasbro does with toys. Modify the body and headlight designs enough to be not litigious, and add the "Decepticon" flair to it.
One thing I liked about Movie 'Scream is that he still altered part of the human design with his own thing which was a big "jive you I don't want to be identified as weak human equipment". But, yes, on topic... The more cars the merrier to me...
