Should be interesting - not sure I understand though, how different is it from the Hasbro panel yesterday? Thanks.

This is the one where they show all the super cool stuff we're not allowed to see becuase we didn't spend the $ to go cross country. -------------------- ***Signature removed by Staff due to size restrictions. The Saturday panel is more-or-less for the stuff on the shelves/in the pipeline. Goes roughly 6 months out.
This is the panel for wowing you with stuff that's often not quite that far along, but you're likely to want hard. Last year, this panel is where we first heard about most of the Generations/RTS stuff like Lugnut and Perceptor and all that--things that were only released (or "released") just recently. |

Oh, the poor fans. They'll have to wait an hour to get their information for free instead of immediately.

Well you know. There're these things called "pen" and "paper" and they can transcribe real-time and allow one to report after the fact. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

The most interesting, and "no devices" now. Hasbro, do you realize how many fans you piss off with this? Those five people who have never been to, or heard of Botcon? No pictures. Ever. Everything takes pictures now, so no everything. -------------------- |

This is a treat for the die-hard fans that actually stayed on Sunday, and is traditionally where the best reveals are. It's no surprise it's no-photos, no-devices.

Hey, any of you guys remember last Sunday's panel, when they revealed Lugnut, and some idiot shouted "GLORIOUS" at the top of his lungs abotu seven times?

Yeah, I don't blame Hasbro for wanting to keep the special slideshow for those present... well, special. They have to balance their desires to do cool things for us (the fandom) against the levels of security and secrecy required of being a business.
I'm impatient and want my reveals NOW, but the previous years have shown that Hasbro can't be nice about it. If they want to prevent leaks, they have to shut it all down... and even then... |

I hope Solus does Gilbert and Sullivan. (Like, y'know, Mordin.)
Their species is monogendered. Male and female have no real meaning to them. This post has been edited by Esser-Z: Jun 5 2011, 03:30 PM -------------------- |

Wooo! New Thirteen member!
Also glad to see Nexus. I was actually a little afraid they were going to dump him and come up with someone new. Also, whoever the Beastformer of The 13 is better not turn into a real animal. And I was right about them making separate MMOs for different markets. Kind of want to play both. Although, I'm more excited for the Jagex one. edit: From what we saw of Prima and what I've heard of the others I kind of hope those guys get another slight redesign before they show up anywhere. I'm ok with them using the Prime aesthetic. I just want it to be a bit more obvious they they're Transformers. This post has been edited by Silent_Magnus: Jun 5 2011, 03:42 PM -------------------- |

So, basically, multiple multiverses!

Some of those were good questions.
Like confirming that characters from the "aligned" continuity will be appearing transmedia. edit: I can understand the The 13 stuff being like the pre-LOTR stuff, but I still would like them in some physical form. Anything would be nice, even Kreons. This post has been edited by Silent_Magnus: Jun 5 2011, 04:01 PM -------------------- |

While I'm pleased to finally get it flatly-stated that "aligned" is not "multiverse"... "aligned" seems anything BUT.
It's all one big story in several parts that don't necessarily fit together, it seems... so something like a comic universe, I guess, where each title has their own thing going on that technically happens in/effects the others, but doesn't necessarily HAVE to (outside of "events" of course)? Seems like trading one concept of multiple continuities for another is all it really boils down to. This post has been edited by Lukeblast: Jun 5 2011, 04:02 PM |

Aligned is a separate multiverse from the previous multiverse, as I read it.
