Good panel. Lots of cool info there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)
Sadly, no one (including myself) thought to ask if they'll at least mention the inconsistency of saying various characters don't have alt modes/Earth modes when they clearly have the elements of them. I know that on the technical side it has to do with the cost of new models, but in-fiction it'd be nice to have a reason why Skyquake obviously had all the parts of a jet, yet was explicitly said not to have an Earth mode (IIRC, a similar thing was said about Wheeljack, who has... well, wheels). It's nit-picking on a certain level, I know, but it's one of those things that would make the world seem a little more... "complete" ("tidy"?) to have a reason instead of just pretending the kibble isn't there. This post has been edited by Lukeblast: Jun 5 2011, 02:18 PM |

I'm kind of glad that I can continue calling the troopers Eradicons because I love that name.
Calling the toys vehicons also seems like trademark protection. -------------------- |

Yeah, Eradicons is a much better name. It's new, unique to TFP, and sounds awesome. Vehicon is a great name too, but it's had its moment.

I happen to like the human characters. I do too, but I know a few people who won't give the show the benefit of the doubt cuz Miko annoys them. I'm simply curious as to how the the people behind the show view that scenario. -------------------- ![]() |

Miko annoys the living hell out of me but I've still watched most of the episodes. QUOTE I'm simply curious as to how the the people behind the show view that scenario. You mean like how Bay immediately pointed his finger at Reno Wilson and Tom Kenny after that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-primal.gif) |

Prime writers are very aware that people hate humans. During SDCC last time when they showed pics of the humans everybody went from cheering to ".........."

A little surprised noone commented on the human characters and their perceived annoyingness. It would surprise you that most people (based on the cheering their voice actors and lines got and the lack of mean spirited comments) at BotCon like the kids and were even asking about making more articulated versions of them. I personally think they're great, on par with any of the robots on the series. Randy -------------------- ![]() |

UGH! I said I have no problem with the humans. But I know people that do, so I was curious how the show handlers are dealing with it.

I demand the rubbery parts (that the spikey pieces will be made of) on their toys to be actual erasers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) -------------------- |

My favorite part was when they said Knockout was gay because his programming was faulty. Yikes. Um.
