What's all this "125" jank? Are they thinking about renumbering the series by counting up all their previous TF stuff? Would that even make 120ish comics?
I swear I have been consistently disappointed by IDW since they took Furman off G1. Sales rose for a bit w/ more G1 art (hardly Furman's fault), then dropped HARD when 7 issues went by without any story progression whatsoever. Literally the autobots and decepticons were in the same place and status in issue 8 that they were in issue 1! Then we moved on to "Ongoing" and it's continuing efforts to make Michael Bay's Transformers seem worthy of praise because it remembers what bumblebee transforms into from scene to scene when IDW can't. |

I'd rather they actually did something to make Drift valuable rather than having him hang around in the background.
I don't care about the collected butthurt regarding the pointless hoohaah of the characters debut. Just have him do something already. -------------------- |

The ideas certainly look interesting (though the Death of Optimus Prime is nothing new since, oh, 1986) but IDW has a recent track record of having ideas sound good in preview then underwhelming when hitting the page. The current storyline actually looks like there's some love and care into it, but "Revenge of the Decepticons" was such a go-nowhere nothing storyline that there really isn't any sense of buildup for it.
