im still waiting for someone to make a city commander-esque add-on to make the Powermaster Optimus design from TF:Animated come true

The problem is that that needed a whole new Prime mold to work. The design, of course, is similar to the Voyager. But not the same.

like i've said before

i think people like FP are smart enough to develop some kind of a work around (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

It's odd that there aren't more spare/alternate heads... those could be useful for turning the many Classics Bees into other characters [this guy uses a Movie Bee head and a Cyb Hot Shot head].

I'm also not exactly surprised it hasn't been made, but I would like an alternate Skyfire-type backpack thing for Classics Jetfire.

Well, if it's accuracy you're looking for, then they'd need to replace chunks of the actual Prime toy. FP's usually not into that sorta thing.

I'm sure they could manage an inaccurate version, and add a shortened trailer with only one extra set of wheels, which would be passable, I suppose.

But I still wanna see a show-accurate one...

Not just heads. Posable hands, too, seem like they'd be a no brainer.

Some kind of Powermaster Prime trailer, although if it involves having a big chunk form some kind of awkward gun, I'm out.

BTW - There is a Classic-style Haywire (Blurr's TM) on Shapeways. I think it's called Mayhem Gun slinger.

I've never even heard of this site! Does anyone know what the quality is like on this figure? Is the site reputable?

I'm surprised there isn't more minicon compatible stuff. Even if they didn't want to use Minicons as minicons and prefer to go with nostalgia, there's still ports they could use for their own creations and whatnot.

They're 3D printed, I think. The exact quality depends on the material you get the design printed in. For largely static parts like heads, though, most of the materials should be OK (especially since you're probably going to need to paint it anyway.

For a transformable figure, you'll need a little more care in material choosing.

I thought someone would make some add-ons for MP Rodimus. I.E.: Shield and Sword from the shuttle scene, energon-goodie dispenser, a mini Daniel figure and hoverboard, stuff like that.

Thanks for the advice. I don't really know what's what so I might just go with the ones marked "strong."
Although with shipping it's working out at over £13 per figure. That's a bit steep for what they are. (Though they look brilliant. I've always liked Nebulan companions. )

Sorry for slightly derailing the thread, by the way.

They can be a little expensive, but it's not like they're mass produced.

I grabbed a couple of Redshifts little targetmasters, and they were great. Just avoid the detail material. It's not really up to transforming joints. (Would probably be fine for static parts like a head, though)

More alternaye heads.

A G1 style head for ROTF Nightbeat.

I'd love trailer/armour for Nemesis Prime that makes him Motormaster.

A basic size Energon Prowl head for the Machine Wars Prowl mold. Though I'd probably throw it on Robotmasters Mirage for colour accuracy.

A smaller deluxe head for Reissue Kup. G1 Kup is a nice toy but the head ruins it for me.

As a lover of the custom head for G1 Ironhide, I'd love an adaption of G1 Skids' weapons so Ironhide could have his flip out drill even it clips on rather than flips out.

Hunter Headmaster for Sunstreaker.

Clip on roof/spoiler to make Cybertron Swerve resemble G2 Hot Rod a tad more closely. It could be one piece and act as an arm mounted shield in bot mode while clipping onto the cyber key/gun port in car mode. A little flame sticker for the bonnet would be nice too.

Pretender armour for Starscream.

classics god bomber ... skip Powermaster all together ... give it two connection points so Prime can tow it between G3 and Powered commander.

A few add-ons (Transforming noggin, ramps, rifle and Master-Sword) to turn Cybertron Metroplex into Fortress Maximus.

No, I'm not going to let it go (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

If it's for classics wouldn't that require some fairly heavy work on the connection area, and a rather tiny headmaster head?

Eh, you'll get your Fort Max upgrade kit soon enough, but it won't be on Cybertron Metroplex. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif)

As for things I'm surprised haven't been done... I suppose it makes sense given how geewunny these third party kitters tend to be, but I'm a bit bummed no one tried to make a head upgrade to turn Roadbuster Ultra Magnus into Roadbuster himself.

Also, an upgrade kit to give HFTD Ironhide a movie-accurate left arm cannon, instead of mounting that drone on there.

And as much as I'd rather not see it made, a sniper rifle/monocled noggin' for RTS Perceptor.

Nah, that was actually made at one point. Was part of an accessory pack to give God Jinrai a more anime style appearance.
