How would you fill the next few waves of "Generations", Or whatever you want to call it.... Options

These threads are always fun and interesting IMO. Lets not worry about repaints/alternate heads we know exist right now (unless there's one you REALLY want) assume they get dumped into the movie line or something and the next few waves of Generations are all new (fantasy, I know, but fun). How would you fill the next few waves of characters?

I'm gonna assume for my list that legends/legion and scout/commander are off the table as part of Cyberverse and limit things to Deluxe and above...

WAVE 1
Deluxe
Arcee - yea, she's probably cursed to never happen but its my dream line, so...
Sky Dive - I really want G1ish Aerialbots to go with Silverbolt and one mold would make for easy remolds of all
Runamuck - obvious alt-head repaint (plus Throttlebot potential).

Voyager
Trailbreaker - Cutter, whatever, just help me finish my 84 Autobot display please?
Blitzwing - Triplechangers are hard at Deluxe, but a Voyager could be amazing.

Ultra
Ultra Magnus - Cab and Trailer that actually looks like classic armored Magnus as a bot. Together w/ Arcee it finishes the TF:TM cast. Question in my mind is should his built in remold be Motormaster or Powermaster Prime. I'd love new figures of either...


WAVE 2
Deluxe
AirRaid - Sky Dive remold
Top Spin - Love me some Jumpstarters
Fangry - Gotta have some underdogs. Plus, later BW Silverbolt remold work for anyone else?

Voyager
Shockwave - the movie has to have given this enough push toget made soon.

Ultra
Sludge - Need More Dinobots! Plus no Sauropods since the original means we need a big old Sludge.

As much as I want an Ultra Sludge, it seems Ultras are dead for good.

For me I'd like Arcee, an Aerialbot as you described (as it would be easy to get all four out of the mold with different heads and some different jet parts), Blitzwing, Springer, Needlenose, Chromedome, Shockwave, Slugslinger, a new Bumblebee (with Goldbug & Hubcap retools), G2 Megatron, F-22 G1 Starscream.

I'd love to see a realistic space shuttle at the Voyager price point. And I'm probably going to be hung up by my toes for suggesting it, but I want it to be Sky Lynx... with a humanoid robot mode. Remold the head and we can get a Blast-off too.

*This, a long with Ultimate Optimus(Although I hope Ultra Magnus would be cheaper), goes on to set a precedent of base figure+trailer/combining accessory and we get a slow trickle of guys like Nova Prime and Star Saber.

The remold should be Galaxy Shuttle.

I honestly don't know how I'd feel about a humanoid Sky Lynx. There's something just so Iconic about the big dactyl-cat to me. I think I'd have to see it in person to see if it would be too different for me to accept as Commander Modesty.

Would 100 % support a G1 style version of him, though I'm not sure Hasbro would make something that "different"

Chromedome with Stylor is REALLY high on my want list. I didn't fit him into my two fantasy waves above but only cause I needed to give some spots to Cons.

Chromedome was easily my favorite HM toy as a kid and I'd love to see him back. Such good memories of him. Given his Leadership role in Japan I can see Takara being all for it as well.


ZacWilliam, ok If I'm honest a new Fortress Maximus would be even higher on my list, but then I'd have to explain to everyone how I love him from the Marvel comics so no he doesn't have to be Huge, A voyager or up is fine...

Me too. Which I suppose is kinda odd as I fell the opposite about Hardhead and would prefer to see them do his US fiction head.

I think the difference is that Chromedome's US fiction head kinda sucks.

Definitely [twenty-]seconding the Arcee, Aerialbot and Blitzwing ideas. I'd cheat, though, and lump in RTS. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) All Scouts and Voyagers will have to go there. I'll also try to even things out with recolors and stuff.

GENERATIONS: just mix and match waves [I may have miscounted how many go into each -- whatever, just toss in one new mold and one recolor per wave or something so it evens out.]

Car mode Arcee, if only to finally get one.
[Aerialbot], pretty well-justified all around. Plus an Autobot jet would be nice.
Hardhead: Remold from Warpath.
Ratbat?: Whoever. Remold from Scourge.
Trailbreaker/cutter/mix.: Later Hoist remold.
Blitzwing, please, round out the con triples already. Later Marauder Megatron remold or something.
Aerialbot #2: remold from earlier release.
Blazing Megatron: Or something. WFC mold in G1 Flame colors. [I forgot Thunderwing's redeco/remold so this took its place.]

But does the populace want much of that you have to wonder? What with the likely only people to be interested being diehard fans of that line/show, and there being figures of them in the last 10 years. It seems Hasbro wants to stick with their current series, G1, and some new characters.

The die-hard fans of those series deserve freedom as well, G1 homages and toys shall exist forever, but Armada homages are scarse, I see no ill in delivering two or three figures based on the series.
