Has anyone seen the latest preview of the episode? I suspect from HIGHLIGHT to view:
seeing Starscream with a captured Wheeljack and then WJ charging with his Drift-like swords drawn that the guy visiting Autobot HQ wil be NOT Wheeljack, but a 'pretender', pardon the pun. Slicer maybe? -------------------- |

I bet
HIGHLIGHT to view: Wheeljack is going to end up dead just like Skyquake. Which will bum me out. -------------------- ![]() |

I think that will happen too, but it won't bum me. Wheeljack will probably be a stereotype stock that doesn't deserve screentime like the other characters anyway.

Way to judge before you have even seen a scene with the character. I hope he stays, maybe as an irregular guest star, like Tigatron was for most episodes on BW Season 1. -------------------- |

Never though I'd see so many people whine about the "Dead stay dead".
After all, the usual comments are "Dead... for how long?" -------------------- |

I'm surprised they got away with Arcee calling Wheeljack Bulkhead's boyfriend.

I'm surprised they got away with Arcee calling Wheeljack Bulkhead's boyfriend. I don't think I've ever seen anything on a kid's show that's 'surprised' me in that manner. Not since Cyborg 009 anyway. -------------------- Being part of any fandom is fundamentally embarassing.

WheelJack Bauer's prison escape was awesome!
Also Jackie Drifts better than Drift practically immediately! -------------------- ![]() |

Too bad about Wheeljack leaving, and Makeshift... Exploding. We almost expanded the cast there for a second.

I imagine they'll be some discontent with Wheeljack, as he is totally, 100% *not* G1 Wheeljack. At all. He's more of a Wrecker tough-guy.
Solid episode - didn't blow me away like Scrapheap, but was much better than Masters and Students. I fully enjoyed it. SPOILERS: HIGHLIGHT to view: Well, there's another unique Con, Makeshift, down the drain. Too bad we didn't even really get to see what he actually looks like. Glad Wheeljack can come back though - I didn't figure he'd stick around, but as long as he has the opportunity to come back, I'm happy with it. -------------------- |

My single disappointment with this episode... It's that Wheeljack didn't get an alt-mode. Regardless, while it wasn't as good as Scrapheap, it's still loads better than Darkness Rising and Masters and Students. I think this cements Prime as my third favorite TF series (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)
EDIT: I get the feeling that Makeshift might not be dead. Then again, I still think Optimus was a bit premature in saying Skyquake was dead. This post has been edited by SpinOut!: Feb 25 2011, 07:08 PM |

Well this Wheeljack is certainly not the mechanic of the Bots this time around. But I like it. Though at first I thought his swords were part of his back wings instead of sheathed on his back.

Meh, it was kinda a by-the-numbers episode. I'm not fond of 'evil dude disguised as a good guy and no one can tell!' episodes although I did like how they didn't stretch it out and have Makeshift do sketchy things that would immediately raise suspicion.
I like that they leave the door open for Wheeljack to return (with some extras by the sound of things), he seems like he's going to be the Tigatron of the series. -------------------- |

Wreckers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-silverbolt.gif) I admit it, I let out a squee.
Darkmount pass! I thought maybe Makeshift would bluff his way out because he would be a Con survivor, but the episode can only go for so long before they had to find him out. Makeshift looked really cool when he was completely in shadow, too bad we'll never saw him again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-op.gif) The dancing at first was really cheesy to me, but then I had to remind myself that I like seeing them during relaxing moments because I'm sure later on in the series they won't get so many chances. And Bumblebee's got some moves. I liked seeing flying Vehicons, even if their bot modes looked the same but with wings. And another one of them talked! And he was voiced by Frank Welker, I was certain it was Blum. -------------------- |

I think this whole "Here's a new guy! He's awesome!" storytelling style would fare better if there were at least toys on the shelves that these constant guest-stars would be advertising.
