If they use water to stop the scraplets, I'll be disappointed.

Really?

That's a bit like saying you'd be disappointed if Megatron uses a fusion cannon or Prime gives a speach.

ZacWilliam, actually doubts water will end up stopping them, but still...

Yeah, I would be disapointed if they used the same cure that the Marvel comics used, mainly because since it's been 20 some years since the scraplets made an apperence, and it's a new timeline, something should be changed, just to make it intresting.

It's not like they've been done a billion times and are always beaten by H2O, so its repedative and borring...

Not like Unicron and the Matrix per say. They had one story 20yrs ago and being beaten by water was a huge part of what they were...

Ahh, it's not like I really care that much, it just seems something weird to care about one way or the other. To me it'd be like if Prime Hauler was set to appear... and hoping that he doesn't turn into a crane...

In the teaser/preview, they were effectively stopped by Fire Retardant Foam.

What's in that stuff that is so deadly to electrical beings? I recall Kremzeek was stopped by this as well...

I haven't seen the preview (I tend to avoid them unless it's for a movie) but it makes sense, and IIRC, fire retardant foam shorted out the Decepticon's weapons systems in "The Ultimate Doom".

That Scraplet, when NOT in chomping mode, looks disturbingly CUTE.

And I kinda want one. << >>

This episode seems scarily similar to "Swarm of the Century".

I mean, just compare Scraplets and Parasprites!

Considering they're both stock plots, that's not surprising.

Eh, good point, but stock plot or no, it looks fun anyways.

The fire extinguisher here looks to be of the carbon dioxide type. I'm not one of robotic/electric engineering, but doesn't extreme cold have some affect on machinery?

The scraplets kinda look like langoliers to me. Bulkhead in the preview had me laughing my a$$ off.

In real life , yeah. I've had jobs where working outside was impossible if it got too cold because the machines would freeze up, locking up parts and freezing up fuel lines. As far as TF's go, the only time I can recall extreme cold affecting a TF is the movieverse.

So extreme cold had no effect on G1 Skyfire?

You're right on them resembling the Langoliers, especially when their mouth is opened. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) And poor Bulkie. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

Now, now kids.

I'll go with the fire extinguisher being a CO2 type, considering the "frosted" look on the Scraplets after Jack blasted them, and the effect of extreme cold can have on metals as well. Short of overlooking long-term exposure versus short-burst, although those Scraplets are rather small and the equivalent of mosquitoes in terms of size when compared to the Bots.

holy god scraplets are frigging adorable

EDIT: This was the first episode that I actually felt satisfied with. There wasn't any awkward hi-then-die like last weeks with Skyquake, and it's nice to have an episode with some more humor. Also, Scraplets are adorrifying.

Why do fictional characters suck at playing video games?
I don't know of many racing games that would require you to button mash like that.
Maybe some sort of kart racer.
