Are there still people doing the fake trade thing? (connect to a specific dns and you automatically get pokemon)

After grinding and evolving Hornesto to a Beedrill he earned his keep in the Viridian Forest due to his poison immunity. Halfshell and Ozma took care of the Caterpie lineage whereas Hornesto carried the rear to protect the others from the creeping death of poison. I found an antidote which I will save for emergencies. Ran into a new Rattata outside of the Viridian Forest but Ozma got a little eager and slayed the beast. Halfshell prepares for the upcoming gym.

Q: CAN I PLAY MY OLD GAMES? A. The 3DS will be backwards compatible with all DS and DSi games. Those games will not be able to display imagery in 3D despite being used on the 3DS. However, some games, most notably Pokémon Black & White, will gain some enhanced functionality when played on the new system. These cases should be considered extremely rare, however. ..................... ..................... ..................... (IMG:http://img806.imageshack.us/img806/8383/1297234468518.jpg) |

Huh, my self limitation was always taking better care of my Pokemon. I mean, in R/B/Y I was brutal, forcing them to only heal at Pokemon Centers unless it was crucial to beating the game that I suck it up and use healing items.
Later games I focused on building a themed team (High HP since I am a fatty myself) and avoiding as many extraneous Pokemon captures as I could: basically unless I had to capture it for the game to progress, I avoided it. Cheated a few times, but I suppose if I ever get another game (self-imposed hiatus right now), I might go for the full effect. -------------------- Jesus loves you!

I tend to only bother to catch Pokemon I plan to use throughout my initial playthrough of a Pokemon game and then at the end go back to "catch 'em all" since it's easier if you've got a high-level monster with a paralyzing or sleep-inducing move.

I like to build up a team that clobbers everything.
Hence why Gliscor is one of my favorite Pokemon ever. Mine has an advantage on Flying, Water, Fighting, Grass, Bug, Fire, Electric, Ghost, Psychic, Rock, and Steel types! -------------------- |

I woke up this morning, turned on my TV. I have never been more overjoyed to see an episode of Pokemon. Not because I liked it (hell, I only watched...3 minutes), but because OMG BLACK AND WHITE!!!

I'll just tough it out till I get the 'mon with those moves. It's incredibly satisfying to have three full boxes and almost all of them we're in your rotation while you worked towards the next center. I'll usually have a good 50 or so before I have a team fleshed out, and usually around 90-100 before its firm. -------------------- |

Ya anymore the only time I pay attention to the Anime other than the movies is when we seem to transition between generations. New black uniform look for the original team rocket isn't bad. But they had to lose Wobuffet! Lame! Giovanni pry only accepts them now since they are good at destabilizing rival Teams in the other regions. But come on people Ash has got to be older than 10 by now! And does he get a new Pokedex and 5 Pokeballs from each new Professor now? Seems pretty generous to an experienced trainer. And the new girl isn't half as annoying as I thought she would be. She seems to have a bit more going for her than the whole Contest girl they have done for May and Dawn. -------------------- |

From talking to people in the know, apparently this B&W dub is very true to the original Japanese - unlike any past Pokemon dub. Apparently even all the background music was kept. I haven't watched it yet, though.

I meant the overall feel, mostly. The Rockets, for example, are much more accurately portrayed in the B&W dub. A big gripe with fans of the original Japanese is that TR isn't nearly as goofy as they've been portrayed in the dub.
Changes to names and places is relatively minor, compared to that. -------------------- ![]() |

"In what can only be described as incredible, two Pokemon movies will be released this year on July 16th: Victini and the Dark Hero: Zekrom and Victini and the Light Hero: Reshiram; a small scan that leaked on the Internet of CoroCoro magazine has revealed the second title. No other details are known at this time other than there will be two, so we can only speculate what this means. Could there be one real movie with two versions, like with the video games? Could there be two actual movies? Could there be two shorter movies playing back-to-back? Either way, this is quite the development! We'll find out more information within the next few days when more CoroCoro leaks or when the Japanese Pokemon movie website updates."
2 movies? at the same time? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-bee.gif) |
