Was there ever any word on an Australian Celebi event, of has it already passed, making mocking gestures in my general direction?

You have my sympathy Golbez! He shall indeed be avenged!
Question with shadow foxes, will the japanese Shiny set we got from Megs count for the purposes of these events? It just occurred to me I haven't bothered to go to gamestop to get any of these, and they're going fast! -------------------- Clearing out some old TFs and Mugenbine in my BST Thread. Just wait for the Europe one. European Celebi won't be Wi-Fi. In fact it's already running in certain countries (Spain, France) and announced in others (Norway, etc.) as a retail event. They're not going to put the rarest Pokemon of any generation up on Wi-Fi for people to download 20 copies of each. Question with shadow foxes, will the japanese Shiny set we got from Megs count for the purposes of these events? It just occurred to me I haven't bothered to go to gamestop to get any of these, and they're going fast! The Japanese Beasts and Celebi will unlock the same content in the English B&W, yeah. Finally ran into my first wild shiny since their introduction into the franchise, and killed it on accident with an unplanned critical hit while whittling its health down to catch it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-wheelie.gif)
And the blue psyduck looked cool too -------------------- |

That's why one of the Pokemon I almost always have in my party while wandering the overworld after beating the Elite 4 is a level 100 Smeargle that knows False Swipe (to bring an opponent down to 1 HP without ever running the risk of killing it), Spore (to induce sleep), Spider Web (to prevent running), and Odor Sleuth (so False Swipe can work on ghosts, when necessary). I made sure to get one with the Technician ability (which powers up weaker moves, like False Swipe), and it's always holding a Silk Scarf (which boosts Normal-type moves further), so False Swipe takes as few hits as possible to bring it down to 1 HP. -------------------- ![]() |

Fortunately, nothing's ever had time to use a move like that yet, lol. Smeargle is pretty effective.

So, I got a question concerning B/W.
I'm getting a DS Lite and Black for my birthday (curse you, Nintendo! I can't quit you!), and I'd like the know if the DS Lite is capable of picking up the Wi-Fi needed for events like the Shiny Legendaries and the Victini event. Also, will I be able to participate in the Global Link, wireless battles, and similar stuff with the DS Lite? -------------------- God is in control / We believe that His children will not be forsaken / God is in control / We will choose to remember and never be shaken / There is no power above or beside him / We know God is in control

So...nobody knows how the Great Marsh and Safari Zone fit into a Nuzlocke run?
Guess that means they're rule free! -------------------- |

Hell, there's even a way to spoof the in game wireless connection to make it pick up event pokemon by pointing it at the IP addresses directly. Those wifi booths at events are just hot spots which link to a web address which is broadcasting continually. It was... somewhere, in the old thread. Damned if I remember what page though. Which I knew, kinda tempted to go back and start a new game.

Good. I haven't really been paying that much attention to this generation, so I wasn't sure which DS could do what.
Thanks! -------------------- God is in control / We believe that His children will not be forsaken / God is in control / We will choose to remember and never be shaken / There is no power above or beside him / We know God is in control

So...nobody knows how the Great Marsh and Safari Zone fit into a Nuzlocke run? Guess that means they're rule free! hahahahaha you wish. The first Pokemon you see you can catch, just like everywhere else. Stop trying to cheat. The fact that everyone else is doing a Nuzlocke amuses me. |
