Damn, I WISH the other two had new colors. I love both those molds.

I'm also one of the insane people who likes Backstop, and those colors look nice. Might get.

Count me amongst the fold then too.

I'd love for this new color scheme to join Saidos and Cyb Backstop on my shelf!

Call me if they make him Stranglehold or something at least, the mold isn't really good enough to bother with in new colors that are just "okay". Looks like a lost movie 1 Target redeco scout.

Shame they couldn't come up with something for the other two. I don't get what the fixation is with releasing TF Cybertron scouts in multiple venues, unchanged.

They're not in Generations. They don't say "Generations" on them.

About time Backstop got a redeco. Though I'm surprised that he's the only one of these in new colors.

The Backstop repaint looks good.
These are the same molds that were released unchanged for Universe 2.0.
I wonder why Hasbro would recolor only one of them.

Hasbro tends to use scouts as exclusives for the smaller stores and Cybertron was the last TF toyline to have decent scouts. Hasbro leaves them unchanged just to save money.

Sure wasn't. The Wal-Mart trio were (and remain at some stores, a shame at two bucks a whack) Backstop, Brakedown, and Brushguard. This new wave also has some blue Jungle Planet Cyber Keys, so that's a little different too.

Yeah one of my local WalMarts found a stash of their last release (backstop, brakedown, brushguard in 25th anniversary packaging) and put them on the pegs for 2 bucks a pop.

That Backstop looks nice. I want it.

Odd and disappointing that Undermine and Wreckloose are unchanged, especially the latter.

What... ARE these?

I mean, they aren't gold, so not RTS, but Generations doesn't have Scouts and they don't say "Generations" on them like the Deluxes, so...

Maybe a new Universe-style release for Dollar General and the like, this time with a repaint and a "new" figure?
