Looks good!

So, what's the retool head in the instructions? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

It's believed to be Senator Rat Bat from Megatron Origins. It was revealed some weeks ago.

Though some think it might be Leozak, while others think it could be both. Hasbro does Ratbat and Takara does Leozak.

I don't think Takara has plans on releasing most of the secondary heads on these figures. Blurr and Scrapheap are most likely it, it seems.

As much as I would LOVE to see that happen, it's highly unlikely. If it does happen, we'll most likely see that secondary head as some Takara exclusive.

So Meister79, is any other part of him clear blue or are his eyes that color for no reason? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

I couldn't find any other clear blue bits. They made it just for the light piping effect. Probably chose blue to fit in with the alternate mode.

Hasbro, I am disappoint. Maybe it's good though, because I have little doubt Takara's will be red, and it will further differentiate the versions if one chooses to use the Hasbro version as Sweeps.

Meister, can the head be disassembled to change out the light piping piece if someone like Darkov at the 2005 boards eventually makes a replacement piece in red?

For some reason, I'd like to see yellow-orange eyes.

Other than that, I don't have a problem with the eyes. I'm not one that has to have Decepticons with red eyes; a little variation here or there is fine with me.

Thanks! Gives me hope for the proper color on the United one, and like Jeremy said it differentiates the two versions if people want to use it as a Sweep. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-ironhide.gif)

Yeah, but if anyone should have devil eyes, it's Scourge. Plus it would tie in really nicely to the other red on him.

I like it two, but I think blue is the last color I want for him. Yellow or red would work (I really liked the setup for the BotCon 2009 Scourge & Sweeps).

It's like IDW's first close up shot of Thundercracker had him with blue eyes (the inside flap of the comic) which worked. Though usually I prefer Decepticons with yellow, orange, red, or purple eyes. Unless it's Straxus than black is preferred. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Looks good, but I'm going to wait for Ratbat. I don't have Galvatron or Cyclonus, so Scourge would just tempt me to get them.

The new version is a better representation of the character, but I think I still like the BotCon Scourge based on the figure's own merits. I'll still buy the new one, of course. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Same here, Big Show. I like this new figure and am already a completionist for Classics, Universe and Generations, but the Botcon Scourge is just a really nicely done figure. The colors on it are very striking and the headsculpt is great.

Seems they bumped Scourge's stats up a bit! His Strength is now a 10 among other things (if I'm reading it right). Don't want to mess with him Cyclonus. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

I quite like the "official" angle of the wings. It evokes the G1 wings reasonably well, I think.

Putting him next to Titanium Scourge really does show how faithful he is to the show model, even with the different alt-mode.

Completely agree with the both of you there.

I think in my ficverse I'll have United Scourge as Scourge, Generations Scourge as the Sweeps, BotCon Sweeps as an Augmented Sweeps, and BotCon Scourge as Augmented Sweeps Captain.

next time you do a photoshooot, can you please use a different background if the figure is white? He blended in so well that he looks like he has chicken legs. A black background would have made him pop more.

Thank you
