Close up In Package pictures. Cliff did end up with yellow highlights, but him & Bee traded in their dark gray for medium light gray.

Megatron ends up really bland, with those nice paint details from the Henkei version (which I have) stripped off.

Speaking of Megatron, here are some pics from HK-TF.

A bit bland, yes. But he looks even more like his G1 self in that color scheme.

I really like how the face on Megatron is painted this time around. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

To add WFC Optimus & Bumblebee look astounding. Love the metallic colors on them. The pink on Optimus is really great (as is the red) and I love the lighter metallic yellow on Bee.

WFC Megatron reallly looks sharp and reminds me more of his color in the game. The blue on Soundwave is really nice, too bad it looks like the other blue seeps through in some areas.

Voyager Megatron uses a dark gray instead of black it seems.

Also funny how Drift and Straxus are the only ones in vehicle mode. Drift is definitely a more stark white this time around.

Seibertron has some comparisons.
http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/new...e-images/20461/

Soundwave looks a ton better in my opinion.

And as I said (and some people said there would be no difference) Drift's white is definitely a more pure white than the murky/muddy white Hasbro used.

Cheers for the awesome in package images.
Having refusing to get Japanese Animated because I already had American, I assume that the metalic paint on these United toys ae similar to the metalic on Japanese Animated.

Looks to be. Though the usage seems more appropriate and not as random.

Also some figures don't appear to have any, unless you count the silver on Voyager Megatron and Drift as such (I wouldn't).

I might have to pick up Voyager Megatron (don't have the Henkei version) and the WFC Prime and Megatron. That Megatron's surprisingly different than Hasbro's WFC Megatron and I like it. But I of course would need someone to fight him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

I honestly can't decide between Generations & United WFC Megatron

I like the contrast of Generation's Near white/grey with his Black parts but I don't like how the attention is focused on his face, I end up wishing he was slightly Darker.

For United I like how the darker colors bring the focus on the figure as a whole & makes him look less sleek but bulky & meanacing, Still I end up wishing he was slightly lighter in color.

I must own one... but Which... WHICH!?

Yep. Glad I preordered that gun Megatron.

Which I honestly did JUST for the paint apps on the head being correct this time.
