Some list you got there, but out of all the comic films out there I'd go with The Dark Knight as my fav comic movie. And I like most of your list up there and all but the Dark Knight to me makes the character of Batman so real that I love it more than anything else that's been done in a comic movie.

I never liked Batman. Nope. Then I saw Batman begins and Dark Knight. Now, I like Batman for more than just the Joker...at least enough to want to see the next movie.
I'll go ahead and say Iron Man & 2, New Hulk, Scott Pilgrim, and preemptively: Deadpool. Watchmen doesn't quuiiiite make it. Something about the movie itself was just...off. Somehow. -------------------- |

Perhaps it would have been simpler to list all the comic book movies that aren't your "favourite"? -------------------- . . . |

Guys, this is the recently-banned Green Goblin, in case it wasn't obvious enough.
The "Harry Canyon" was a dead giveaway. But the lists and generic "pointless nostalgia" threads helped, too. -------------------- Hey, check out one of my sites!

I always kinda like Dolph Lundgren's taken on The Punisher.
Especially when the "oh jive" moment that hits right in the very last seconds of the film. HIGHLIGHT to view: The plot is that because the Punisher has done such a thorough job of mowing down any criminal types who get caught in his path, the remaining crime syndicates in town are so short-handed that they cannot even provide sufficient bodyguards for their own families. A yakuza syndicate looking to move in takes note of this and so sends in teams to start kidnapping everyone they can find, resulting in a three-way race between the Punisher, the cops, and a united underworld in order to go find the kidnapped family members & bring them back. The film ends with the Punisher getting there first and wiping out the entire yakuza cell, enabling everyone to be reuinited with their families. But the final few moments depict the Punisher meditating upon what happened. ...and his thoughts, as presented by the narration, show that he hasn't learned a bloody thing. His bloodlust is such that while he helped the crime guys get their kids back today, tomorrow he'll be right back to butchering them. -------------------- Lexicon: still up and running!

When was he banned actually? I knew it was quiet around here. After the last bout of spammy threads, when he showed no inclination of going back into hibernation after a week or so as he usually did prior. This post has been edited by TM2-Megatron: Dec 15 2010, 09:18 AM -------------------- ![]() |

What, no Mystery Men? Good movie... but was it actually a comic book? Yeah, it was based on Flaming Carrot, but removed the title character from that comic because he was "too bizarre". The DVD actually came with a Q&A explaining why there were differences between the film and the comic. In the comic, the Mystery Men were actually the supporting cast and Flaming Carrot was their leader. -------------------- Hey, check out one of my sites!
