"Community" has blown my mind with their meta-television and is without a doubt my favorite program on TV. But just when you thought that their Halloween zombie episode was the most amazing thing that could happen they go and do this...
(IMG:http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/6894/communityanimatedchrist.jpg) QUOTE When Abed (Danny Pudi) wakes up in stop-motion animation, he takes it as a sign that he and the group must re-discover the meaning of Christmas. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) become growingly concerned about Abed’s mental health and enlist the help of Professor Duncan (John Oliver). The group undergoes hypnosis to explore Abed’s winter wonderland and soon unravel the truth behind Abed’s madness.

I loved it.
The idea that without his mom Abed goes into a delusional christmas inspired mental state is just... psychologically intuitive... or something. Also, the ending to it. Me and my brother both enjoyed the tv shutting off, and the only live action in the episode being their reflection in the screen. Touching actually. A very cool move. And of course, a very unique episode. I think I will watch it every year. -------------------- |
