Agreed, this gives us another chance to hope for a magenta Hot Rod (with yellow spoiler again), and a toy-colored Galvatron even though I hate the mold. I'm prepared to have to buy the Challenge at Cybertron three pack toys again unchanged though, if it means getting something else new that you can't get anywhere else packed with them. That's what eBay is for.

I guess HasTak didn't need to worry about not really being able to redeco Cyclonus into anybody else (except Strafe....*cough*), as they simply put out like 5 different versions of him.

As much as I love the Nightstick mold, I think it would be neat if Cyclonus came with his cartoon blaster instead. It would be different at least! Also, cartoon colored Scourge would be worth the money this set for me. You could even toss him in the oven for a few mins and have matrix empowered Scourge!

It's amazing how much detail is hidden inside a shadowy photo, isn't it?

Hmm. It's also possible that the head is this guy in the front right: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Image:TFTM_Junkions.JPG He's pretty prominent in the group shot, plus he has the correctly-shaped shades.

It's possible the Galvatron and Cyclonus will be the same versions as the Challenge at Cybertron set since Takara has yet to release those decos.

Uh... I'm comparing the Junkion silhouette to the stock photo of Wreck-Gar from the TFCC magazine cover... and... they're exactly the same. Same pose, etc. Even the head silhouette matches.

Yeah, the light/dark layout is different, but all it takes is some Photoshop.

So I'll wait for some confirmation before thinking we got a generic Junkion out of this/these pack/packs, and not just a "more G1-y" Wreck-Gar.

Except for the fact that the silhouette has shades/visor instead of individual eyes like wreck-gar has, a fact that was pointed out in the second sentence of this thread and is where the speculation that this guy is another Junkion stems from.

I'm very much aware of that, thank you. But my point still stands. A generic Junkion is a very odd addition to this set, and you'd think that if there was a new noggin, they'd show that in silhouette too to ramp up excitement.

I'm just saying, hoofbeats and zebras and all that.

Look, It's obvious that the silhouette has a visor. Neither the G1 Wreck-gar toy, cartoon model, or the new toy have visors. How could he be a more G1-ish Wreck-gar if he has a feature that no incarnation of the character has ever had? However, several generic Junkions do in fact have visors along with heads very similar to Wreck-gar. The visor's existence alone is enough evidence to indicate that this guy is going to be something different than a simple recolor of Wreck-gar.

You do bring up a good point that the silhouette uses the same stock photo as the TCC cover. Since this is just a teaser, the new head probably hasn't been finished yet so they just photoshoped the stock photo with the visor to indicate that this guy will have a new head. Makes sense to me! In regards to "redeco in similar poses" stock photo-ness:

Just throwing that out there.

Yay for generic Junkion!
This set will probably be in anime-accurate colors.
But I hope Cyclonus, Hot Rod and Galvatron are at least different from the Challenge at Cybertron set.

I'd give my left nut to finally get a cartoon accurate magenta Hot Rod, C@C comes close but not quite.

I'm definitely getting two of these and I'm glad to see some e-Hobby exclusives that are not Masterpiece figures.

So did anyone read the text in the photo? What does it say?

Roughly, it says that November 14th was the starting date of Transformers 2010.
And e-Hobby exclusives are coming soon.
More details will be coming in the near future.

I was originally going to offer the left nut of each of the male posters sans me from the board, but it ended up too complicated for me to type at the time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

I tell you one thing, I really don't see myself getting the Decepticons if it can be avoided.

I don't see myself getting the Autobots either, really, unless we ARE getting a random new Junkion and he's only available in this set. Which would be a real teeth-gritter.

I'd laugh if e-Hobby had a new Target Master made for Scourge for this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

Making new things isn't what e-Hobby does. Well, okay, there were new stickers, once...
