Is there a Transformers-related song that one can dance to? I don't think one can dance to The Touch or Dare. Same with the Linkin Park TF movie theme songs. (or can you?) Uh, not really too fond of Chris Brown's I Can Transform Ya.

I know one can dance to whatever dance song is popular at the moment (Lady Gaga?) but I'd rather keep it Transformers related. See, I do Transformers cosplay for when our local toy distributer does TF wave launches and I figure it'd be fun for the kids if I do more than just walk around, pose for pictures and terrify the smaller ones.

Maybe not exactly suitable for what you want to use it for since its in Japanese, but I always thought that Victory had a great opening, even if you don't understand the lyrics, it still has a catchy tune and singers.

But if you want to keep it about Transformers to use for the kids, then you can't go wrong with the 1986 movie credits song.

Gnarls Barkley's "Transformer" is pretty awesome, and I think the album cut is pretty dance-able. I'm fond of the slow cut too (possibly moreso, even), but it's not a dance song.

You can dance to anything. You just have to not mind looking silly.

I don't mind looking silly while dancing because I'll be in costume and no one would recognize me. I know I can dance to any sort of music that kids would like (ha, I thought about using Phineas and Ferb's Phinandroid and Ferbot song) but I'd much prefer to move to something Transformer fans would appreciate.

I can't use the Japanese songs (which is a shame). Any more music suggestions? Dance routines and ideas would also be welcome too.

Won't be able to breakdance, LOL!

What about the Beast Machines theme? The beat might be a little fast, but if you can't dance to techno, what can you do with it?

^ If anything is a good reminder of how much more I liked the Japanese themes and opening animation than the actual shows it's the second Beast Wars II opening. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

How about The Gothsicles' "Devastator"? It's available for free download, even.

There's always the instrumental version of Cold Slither that was all the rage in the Dancitron.

It's not DIRECTLY Transformers related per se but I think it would be very cool if you danced to Daft Punk's Robot Rock. It would still work!

Those BWII clips only remind me of how much I wish Hasbro brought BWII and Neo to the US in the beast era.

I love seeing Claw Jaw, Magnaboss, etc... in animation.

What kind of dance are we talking about though?

Dancing with the Stars territory or high school prom waltzing territory?

If you don't want to really potentionally offend anyone, I'd stick with the scores from the first and second movie.

You could ham up "interpretive" dancing for the amusement of little ones.
