Ordered these and Defender.
For anyone in the UK, they're up for preorder on Kapow-Toys for £75.90, which seems to be roughly the same as TFsource and Robotkingdom are offering with cheap shipping, with the current exchange rate, but you avoid the risk of customs charges, so you won't end up paying off damned thieving, blackmailing HM customs justb to get your item a month late. I'm sensing some bitterness... I got Masterpiece King Grimlock recently, they decided I had to effectively pay 25% of his cost again in tax and handling fees before they'd let me have him, and informed me I'd have to pay an extra 20 bucks to them if I had the audacity to want them to deliver on a Saturday, despite the postage being fully paid for already. Still cheaper than eBay or any UK stores selling him, but still, it was an extra 60 dollars I didn't want to pay. This post has been edited by Total Biscuit: Feb 3 2010, 05:47 PM |

Those pics are amazing.
Preordered both at BBTS. Between them and defender...it will be an expensive month. Good thing taxes were very good to me this year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) -------------------- "The way YOU are built lends itself to similarly big weapons. OH COME ON. I just got City Commander and now... I should just send BBTS my lungs. No. You need those. Your kidney though. And did you know you don't need all of your liver and its easily transplantable? Oh yes. Not worth as much, but a lot safer. Or, you know, you could pay them with money. -------------------- I'm still in the avatar. Over there. In the corner. With the wings.

Though, they did put a copter into the Micromaster Superion set. The copter is part of the original Sixwing set, so they kind of had to include it. I just wish that he and Groove were't both assbots. -------------------- |

Oh, I know it's part of the original Sixwing set; that's not what I meant. What I meant was that there was some precedence for having a helicopter in the Aerialbots (Step two of arguing my point (i.e. that they wanted to have five jets, like in G1) is always to surrender an anticipated point to the other side (i.e. that there could have been a chopper in Universe Superion and it wouldn't have been out of nowhere/would have been workable.)

I think we're supposed to pretend they turn into the thighs. Colors match up for that on Sixturbo, at least. -------------------- ![]() TFWiki.net - Transformers Wiki GENERATION 21: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Well, full preorders at $50 a fig each with half the add ons. not cool dudes. But, sigh, I will buy them, I just can't figure out how to budget them in right now... Maybe it's time to hit BST again.
I do wish they offered a full (discounted) set, then just the add ons with an extra hand add on for those who don't want to pay for the new mold figs. -------------------- |

You need the new mold figures to work with the parts, as they don't give you to helicopter connector pieces in a set, just one for Vortex.

How is it possible for this to look even more awesome every time...? And we haven't even seen it in color yet. Wow! Sure, it helps that Bruticus is already my favorite combiner/the Combaticons are my favorite team. 'Course I'd want to see them get the "lux" treatment...!

Man that is sick. I love how they've given extra weapons to the other components. This set nullifies my need to ever have another Bruticus ever. It's really perfect.
