So Deadlift is practically a Grim Reaper, or ferryman, of sorts.

More like an undertaker/mortician. He doesn't send the souls/sparks onto the next life, he just disposes of the body.

Which is still pretty gruesomely cool. I love Spoons too much to not repurpose him in my collection, but someone else is definitely getting that name/function.

Trenchmouth though? All the names they could have renewed, all the names they could have made up, and we got Trenchmouth? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-kicker.gif)

I love how they managed to sneak the term "repurposing" into Deadlift's bio. Hasbro, you so crafty!

"Windy City Chase" - A Chicago reference? Not bad.

Now I want a 5 pack of Stunticon homages called "Motor City Madmen" for Detroit.

Ole!

I'm not gonna bite on Trenchmouth and Slap Dash, but Beachcomber and Deadlift will be mine.l I kinda wish that Beachcomber had been packed with the Red Baron, though...

Deadlift, smedlift, he's Spoons and going in my Gobots homages pile.

Anyone want to see Spoons make his rare cameo on the Gobots TV series? It was in episode #23. He appeared about 5 minutes in just as a forklift, and then again about 16 minutes in trying to stop the Guardians from escaping.

I'm torn between calling Deadlift either Spoons or Digby O'Dell (let's see if anybody gets THAT one).

I see 'Deadlift' being his TF codename fiction wise. After crossing over, he chose a name that would have him stand out less from the Transformers. Which is my same reasoning for Fracture's name.

Right now we have a Crasher, we have Spoons coming. Any other Gobots? I suppose the Dart from Reverb, even if it's unintentional. All renegades as Decepticons. Any other Gobots out there? Maybe Cybertron Excellion as Turbo?

Movie Armorhide, if you dont mind him pulling double duty, works pretty well as Road Ranger from the Ehobby release. One could probably make some mods to White Powerglide to make him Ehobby BadBoy. Isn't there a Decepticon repaint of Legends Warpath? He could fill in for Treads.

I don't have the Dead End or Bike molds, and I do love the wheelie homage. Slappydash and Trenchmouth are bought.

I wonder if these'll be $15 or $10.

Trenchmouth?!

The more I hear it, the more I hate it. I mean, I'm approaching "HAET TEH NAEM!!!!111" levels here. He's named after a gum disease! This is like being named "Gingivitis-Bot"!

I can imagine the next one: "HEY GUIZE, I JUST GOT SNEEK PICS OF THE NEW TF. HIS NAME IS IMPACTED MOLAR!"

HATE. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-megs.gif)

Molar is cousin to Ro-Tor and Movor. Whether or not he's impacted depends solely on how much he imbibed before getting behind the wheel.

He's a TF... it may very well be that his wheel IS his behind!

Which of course brings up that drinking and driving is an interesting notion for a TF...

... seriously though, who the hell thought Trenchmouth was a good name? "OH NOES, IT'S TRENCHMOUTH! SOMEONE CALL FLUORIDE MAGNUS!"

A ton of Minicons make good Gobot updates. For instance:

Broadside as Destroyer (especially if you leave the head untransformed)

Deep Dive as Dive Dive

Divebomb as Cop-tur

Boltflash as Leader 1

Skyshadow as Bad Boy

Cloudraker (or Crosshairs) as Wrongway

and many others.
