Could actually be for an exclusive figure; they're doing a mail-away offer to get an exclusive Cobra Commander in the Joe line in 2010. But drat, I thought that SW was coming with the Wave 1 ROTF Bee, not the Cannon Bumblebee (My first Cannon Bee is fine...never really a fan of the battle mask.). I do want a blue SW, though...might switch over to "Meeting at the Nemesis". Which blue Soundwave I get doesn't particularly matter.

This set just keeps getting better. I love both repaints and I especially want to own this fourth version of the Soundwave mold. Add in a mail-away exclusive? Sold.

Yep, it'd be nice for those of us who buy a lot of the toys to be able to send off for some kind of a bonus figures, since they rarely do neat little promotions like this outside of Japan these days. Hopefully I won't regret throwing out all those ROTF proofs of purchase.

Hope I don't have to buy this set to get the figure if the figure turns out to be desirable. But I do like the idea of showing some appreciation for those of us who make mass purchases of product yearly.

I've got a lot of "but I thought he was black" jokes for Soundwave, and I find none of them funny because I really wanted him in black.

I like my silver repainted soundwave. but for some reason i absolutely love these colors.. i don't really know why, i just like the color differences between his body and the satellite panels.
I'm not too excited about the bumblebee.. i bought the first cannon bumblebee so that i could use his arms on the preview bumblebee while he's in robot mode. i wish they took another try at the battle mask though.. then never seem to get it right, that version is far too tiny, the human alliance one has that big square bottomed opening in the middle of his face.. i think they could have done a lot better with that, and the ultimate bumblebees mask flips out from in his head and is too skinny and disproportionate. but anyways.. i'll probably get this for the soundwave, hopefully the mail away figure is cool, that could make it a little more worth it for people like me who like one of the figures but don't quite care for the other. anyone wanna speculate on what that figure could be? i doubt it'll be a new mold. i'm sure it'll either be a legends or scout class figure, hopefully a deluxe though. if it were a deluxe.. anyone think it could be a red rampage? it would kinda fit in with the whole battle bumblebee.. other than that.. it could be anything deluxe and below with a new paint scheme. so yeah, red rampage is my guess. what's yours? |

Maybe it Clifjumper from one of the new movie Bumblebees. I would not mind a classics and Universe 2.0 repaint or hell even a good UT toy.
