Cool. It's probably too much to hope it runs under MacOS, but I could try getting it to work on my XP netbook.

Yeah I doubt it will support Macs, but the physical device is still cool enough to warrant purchase.

What are they going for these days? I really wish we could get releases like that over here instead of pointless things like Robot Replicas and battle bumpers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif)

$40-50 for these two. $45-55 for Grimlock and Trypticon (out November), and $50- $60 for Blaster (out December).

I love this mold for Ravage, but the price is still way too high. I held out long enough to get Music Label Soundblaster for $30, so I'm hoping to eventually pick this thing up on the cheap.

I do wonder how this Autobot Tigatron fits into Beast Wars continuity.

He was around prior to the beast wars on Earth (as seen in the Botcon '06 comic) so perhaps he's been around for longer than there were Maximals?

Could be like Jaguar/Ravage in Binaltech, and some how he survived the 4 million years from the end of Beast Wars until now.

I suppose since Ravage got an upgrade, and guys like Glit have been carried into G1, it's possible Tigatron was a G1 tape we never saw. Or a late comer, and he got upgraded into a Maximal body as seen in Dawn's and viola. Dinobot is harder to accept. And tiny Tripticon even more so hehe

Luckily Dinobot was changed to Grimlock like a week after we found out about these.

I wonder if there is any fiction for these at all? Music Label had some, but I don't know if it fits with the normal G1 continuity (I imagine it does).

I think Walky will be pleased to see that this Ravage can Pounce.

The big crazy official Japanese G1 Timeline that came with some later Kiss Play items included Music Label Soundwave's story, but not Convoy's...presumably because he was supposed to be dead during the period when it was taking place. But then, Convoy's is all about stopping Soundwave's plan, so it's all a little vague.

They did indeed. The vaguely Magnus-colored Convoy even had his own.

I figured, Takara is usually good at giving figures fiction, even if it's really convoluted.

These images give a good indication of their size. I think it's pretty perfect for Ravage and Classics/Universe figures.

Based on HLJ, it seems Ravage is considerably more popular than Tigatron (if that wasn't surprising).

Got Ravage earlier today from Image Anime.

$58.00USD before sales tax is what I paid for it.

Def. ranks up there in the catagory of worst "bang for my buck" as far as my recent TFs purchases are concerned.

I basically only bought it for both my love for Ravage and to a lesser extent my love of the more esoteric TFs products that Tak/Tom puts out, ie: Sports Label & Disney Label.

I'm 98.6% sure this will be both my first and last Device Label purchase unless something else comes out and totally blows my mind. The other announced items I can totally do without.
