Hasbro's answers for Round 3 of the Q&A have rolled in!
1) How many Human Alliance figures are scheduled for the Revenge of the Fallen toy line? And when you decide to end the Revenge of the Fallen toy line, is there any chance that this fan-popular sub-line will continue? There are still plenty of human and not-so human characters that could use toys. Like Daniel with Arcee, Spike with Hot Rod, or Una and Chak with Transmetal Cheetor! QUOTE 1) Currently, we have announced five figures for the Human Alliance line, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Autobot Skids, Barricade and Mudflap. Outside of these announced figures, we are already investigating other characters and pairings that would make sense for the line. As a whole, humans have always played an important part within the Transformers fantasy, especially in the two live action films. With that in mind, we have tried to bring those relationships to life in toy form. We are eager to see what the reaction to the line will be and will base our future decisions on where this line goes based on these results. 2) After Perceptor and the Insecticons, how many other reissues are planned? Or if there are currently no plans for more reissues, but it's something that you'd like to look into in the future, which figures would you personally like to see reissued in the US market? QUOTE 2) Currently, there are no plans to release any other reissues at this time. However, we would always strongly consider any re-issues that Takara has previously done. 3) "Revenge of the Fallen" has brought with it a more adult-aimed Transformers, both in terms of toy complexity and the adult humor sprinkled generously throughout the movie. What will this mean for any future toys and fiction--including comics, toy bios and cartoons-- that Hasbro may have planned for the movie continuity? Would a movie continuity cartoon revert back to the more child friendly stories as we've seen with the past few years, or would it keep a flavoring of the adult themes that Michael Bay brought to the films? -------------------- |

TFViews Q&A http://www.tfviews.com/news/main/hasbro-q-and-a/499 Bulkhead is joining Lockdown as an Animated character being made in another Transformers toy line? Well, wasn't the possibility of Bulkhead being designed in the Classics/G1 aesthetic mentioned at one point? I seem to remember that. Maybe it was just the notion of transplanting Animated characters in general and I immediately thought of a G1-style Bulkhead. Of course, the answer to the question doesn't guarantee that it'd be a G1 design. A movie-style take on BUlkhead would actually make a lot of sense, considering how monstrous he is. No Scrapper blows. At least we're getting the legends, I guess. QUOTE AFAIK The 7 Primes in ROTF are not multiversal singularities. The Fallen's movieverse version is their brother but that's about the extent of it. Are you sure? That doesn't make sense. The "7" from the movie (which are actually 13 if you read Defiance #4 and count them) are the movieverse's version of the 13 original transformers. How could they not be multiversal singularities if the Fallen is a multiversal singularity by virtue of being one of the first cybertronians, just like they are?
