I like both, and would consider the Bumblebee set.

Ditto. Pretty neat still, though.

Too bad I never wear sneakers anymore. I wonder if they come in size 15...

Outdated Nike jokes aside, are those seriously intended for adults to wear? The BB one I can maybe see, but Soundwave? Garish with a capital tacky.

Though the Megatron one that's more or less previewed at the bottom there, I might like the look of. Maybe.

I'm sure the Soundwave version would be worn by guys whose entire warddrobe (including their emo pants) were bought at Hot Topic.

I wear a lot of shirts from HT, but I won't buy pants there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

There is a whole sub-culture of people who like and collect ugly shoes much worse than these. Some douchebag on the History Channel did an entire episode on it.

The Megatron shoes aren't that bad. And it gets bonus points for using the Classics colors (from me at least, I know those colors weren't universally accepted).

I am a gigantic adult man, and I want those Bumblebee shoes badly. I would wear those suckers everywhere (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)
Too bad they're probably gonna be priced in the multiple 100s.

I don't see any prices anywhere on those websites.

I'm used to getting docs and army boots in mens' sizes, and I'd totally wear the Megatron shoe, but I can't really afford to pay multiple hundreds of dollars for the privilege. Anywhere have a listing of what regular retail prices are?

I'm tired of envying little kids their Transformers shoes...

QUOTE
Finally, the the last of the Nike Basketball x Transformers II Three-Pack is the above Zoom Flight Club Megatron Edition. Similar to the Zoom Sharkalaid Soundwave Edition and the Zoom FP (Fun Police) Bumblebee Edition, the best part about the sneakers is the unique packaging similar to the style of the original 1st generation Hasbro Transformers toys. This Zoom Flight Club features a clear over lay in place of the usual leather to zip up the upper as well as the Decepticons logo and the Megatron color scheme. The Nike Basketball x Transformers II Three-Pack is expected in very select Asia Nike Basketball retailers and very select Nike Basketball retailers such as House of Hoops very soon

With the limited release and the constant mention of a three-pack...I'm betting these will be expensive.

Likely out of my shoe-buying price range (under 100).

Really wanted the Megatron ones.

Okay, those Megatron ones are fairly nice to me. My inner child actually popped up and went "Cool!" Too bad I'll probably never wear them, I'm just not a sneaker/basketball shoe type of guy.

They look nice, but I've never spent more than twenty-five bucks on shoes, and I'm not gonna start now.

If it weren't for the decals on the straps I would probably wear the Soundwave ones. I used to have a pair of sneakers that were those colors minus the grey/white. If I balled more often and they weren't so expensive I'd might consider them.

I'll pay $100-150 for good quality shoes. I had a pair of Nike Airs that cost about $110 and lasted for seven years; same with a pair of Doc Martens and a pair of Birkenstocks that survived eight years, of almost daily use (The docs outside, the birks inside). I can kill $30 wal-mart boots in eight months, so $30 x 4 years' wear = $150 as a fair price.

Over $200 is out of my price range though, so....if these come in size six and are less than $200....

The Soundwave ones are the best.

Might pick up a set if I can find them.

Great, they can put shoes in G1 style packaging but not the toys? Jerks!
