Well, with the picture being Ruination, and the "text clues" being a combiner, and the other talking about cybertron destron fighting against fire convoy, I'm not sure what's up. I thought maybe the coloring on the picture was a red herring towards Ruination, but maybe it's all a semi red herring towards the club figure after all, which can be seen as having ties to RID.
Of course that gives no clue at all about the "o-part" or whatever that 3d model is of. This post has been edited by xZAOx: Jun 22 2009, 08:35 PM -------------------- |

Does anyone recognize this? I just got it sent to my phone, so I'm sorry if the quality's crappy. It's that thing in the bottom right corner. Dr. Onishi needs to clean his desk. [attachment=18632:onishi07.jpg] Looks like an odd hunk of LEGO to me... -------------------- ![]() |

So.. Does this mean BP's coming back? British Petroleum? I got gas there just last week. Well that doesn't make me think I'm right or anything. Nope. I must be completely off the mark. In all fairness, I am not on staff any more and I honestly don't know what this is. I have a fair guess, though. -------------------- Wait a minute. Do not associate this thing in the picture with any delicious food. As a matter of fact, it is even inedible. It is a pair of shorts with meat pattern printed on it. Next time you go to supermarket for meat, you should be careful. Shorts are not delicious even though they come with meat patterns.

my rid history is a little rusty, but didn't the o-parts combined lead to fort max?

We're finally getting RiD in the states on DVD? Seriously I do not like Viral Marketing. I do not like it sitting down, I do not like it rolling around... Ok I'm done (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-blitz.gif)

I wouldn't think Fort Max would fit the reference of something that was thought to be lost. Takara reissued him just a few years ago as a Brave. I'm still hoping to see him in the Encore line though in original Hasbro colors. I just can't stomach the coloring of the Brave version. It makes him look like a knock off.

Here's a thought guys, Japanese archaeologists (much like fansites) do not have access to information regarding upcoming TV series, toy reissues, new toys, DVD releases, or anything along those lines. I'm sure Dr. Onishi has turned up something fun, though. Mysterious fun.

I wouldn't think Fort Max would fit the reference of something that was thought to be lost. But that was the story in RiD, where most of these clues and references come from. The o-parts led to Fort Max, thought (again, in-story) to be lost. The injection of reality (Takara having the mold) doesn't work here. Heck, even if you DO inject reality, one could see Hasbro's inability to make the toy again as "thought to be lost (to US fans)". Honestly, I don't think this IS in reference to Fort Max... I'm just saying that it's not going against anything so far. Thought to be lost.... RiD.... Oh god... More Car Bros.?! PLEASE GOD/PRIMUS/UNICRON YES!!! *hugs his Car Bros and thinks positive thoughts* Complete side note, but is anyone else surprised that Hasbro hasn't tried to slip the Car Bros molds into the movie line(s)? They're actually not far removed from the aesthetic, and their transformations are actually easier than some of the movie toys... -------------------- Bangers and mash!

protocol.
thought to be lost. sky byte, ruination. BP. i am so going with the BP guess, and am actually a little surprised that no one jumped to that before Generator -- it's not EVERYONE'S intuitive answer, but hey. if so, yay. interesting art of that era's characters is always good. and after the Beast Wars hoopla I could use a fairly nicely-written set of bios.
