Must they continue to tease us with new images each month until the toy is released? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

And, uh, Nightstick's space pants look a tad ridiculous there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Am I the only one worried that recent pictures don't show the original accessories we saw? We only see the brain cap - not the crown or serving tray anymore.

Apparently the serving tray (Thank god) and the crown (NOOOOOO, dammit, NOOOOO!) will NOT be coming with him anymore.

Grimlock continues to look amazing. Too bad of the extra accessories he was going to receive (crown, brain wave scanner, tray) they didn't keep the best of them (the crown). I'm not sure what mode I'm going to want to display him in as he looks so great in both.

I really like the black & white Mickey, but hate the Optimus colored version.

Cyclonus's silver/gray in these pictures is now a very light purple like it was on the cartoon. Making him even more cartoon accurate. I like it.
The chromed wings blend in pretty well with his forearms in jet mode.

Nightstick continues to look fantastic. I love that even with a red face his eyes continue to remain a different color than his face.

I love that Grimlock, but I'm sure I'll wait for the American version. And I sincerely hope the American version will incluide the crown. If it doesn't, that would be a good fan-made product.

You never know, but I'm thinking if the Japanese one doesn't the American won't. It would be great if he did though. Pack him with a Marvel Comic where he features it as well.

Hm, that is a verrry nice headsculpt on Grimlock. The MPs for some reason always seem to mess that part up, so this is a much appreciated reversal.\

-edit: Also glad he doesn't have those weird Figueroa teeth molded into his cheeks.

Definitely the best headsculpt thus far. I didn't have much problem with anyone's other than Megatron though. Granted Skywarp's & Thundercracker's alternate heads were pretty awful.

I'm glad Grimlock has a neck.

I just couldn't stand the proportions of their heads. Too skinny. I figure it was likely due to requirements for transformation clearance, but still. Pop-out vents would have been awesome; something like Universe Sunstreaker.

Meanwhile, Prime's optics were all weird, and his helmet brim was too round. Yeah, I know, douche-level nitpicky on my part.

We're getting the brain helmet thing but not the crown?! RAGH! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-megs.gif)

Of course, since I suspect that Hasbro will intro MP Grimlock as their 25th Anniversary toy, I could see them easily going to that sort of trouble.

I'm still wondering if you can pose that left hand. I can see a clear pin going through it, and in the shot showing Grimlock from the back, you see that the left has a pin, where the right does not. Still, he might be able just to open & close his hand like an Alternator. Nothing fancy like individual finger movements.

I also really hope that the final version uses orange translucent plastic for the sword/gun.

Disney Prime might be worth the purchase. Grimlock is impressive, but I really prefer his new design.

I hardly ever import Japanese toys. MP Megatron, BW Neo Galvatron (and the Giraffe to at the same time 'cause he was cheap) are it.

But...

That Cyclonus might be worth it.

And Grimlock, if it gets confirmed that he's NOT coming to the States.

That Grimlock is probably too big to fit in with classics, which I'm hoping he's doesnt tower over everyone.

I don't think they'll ever say "No, not ever" (MP and Reissue Megs notwithstanding). They typically will say "no plans right now", but that is always open to change.

After playing with the Cyclonus mold last weekend, I think I like it enough to buy both versions.

And I think its very unlikely. I mean, wasn't it during Botcon 2007, somebody stated that they'd like to do a Masterpiece Grimlock?

Plus, this is there 25th Aniversary. I really don't see them passing on this right now.

Then again, I'm wondering if they'll have to make significant changes. I mean, if Optimus's pipes had to be shortened for the drop test, I wonder what they'll do to the dino arms.

Yeah, personally I *think* we'll see it stateside eventually - but some people (mainly on other boards) have gotten confused into basically thinking it was a sure thing. It took Starscream a long time to get here, but that was an easy pass since I hated the green. I don't think I'm gonna take the risk on Grimmy though, and just go ahead and get the Takara one. Hopefully it'll still have the crown =/

And I don't think there were mold changes for MP SS when he was brought stateside, was there? I have him and Skywarp, and I don't remember any differences.

Did't one of the Q&A answers state or imply there was another MP figure coming Soon?
