QUOTE(Beastbox X)
Just received my off-month TFCC magazine, and for those of you who are club members, you know that we get an order form listing products "in stock" at the club store and available preorders these months. Well, this month's order form has some listings of toys we haven't heard of (or at least haven't been officially confirmed yet), so I thought I'd share.

The preorder deadline listed for these is March 3, so I'd imagine April is when we'd see these new Animated products:

Animated Deluxe Wave 3 '09: Arcee, Electrostatic Soundwave
Animated Voyager Wave 3 '09: Hydrodive Bumblebee, "Golfire" Grimlock

Keep in mind that these are just listings, so I have no idea what these products look like or anything. And I'm not sure what's up with "Golfire"-- I'm guessing it's a typo or shorthand for something longer, but I can't figure out what. "Goldenfire," perhaps?

I thought the Q&A mentioned a Bumblebee-with-accessory at a smaller pricepoint, yet here's a Voyager. Maybe they're both coming out?

I hope Electro-Soundwave's new partner is Ratbat, who turns into a drum set.

"Electrostatic" does not sound like Soundblaster.

What I got from what they said was a small Bumblebee with more stuff.

I'm pretty sure only 1 1/2 of them are repaints.
As Soundwave is supposed to have a new minion.
Although I guess Grimlock might come with something new.

I'm mainly disappointed with the fact that out of the four of them. There's only one new character.

It was a smaller Bumblebee with a large accessory. They never actually said anything about price point.
Although most of us assumed it would be a deluxe.

Smaller Bumblebee, larger accessory, Voyager Class, "Hydrodrive". So he comes with a boat that he can sit in! And a captain's hat! And a spyglass! And a tongue-tied parrot who thinks he's better with women than he actually is...

...Or somethin' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

I was just thing how much and Activators sized Bee would need to be packed with to be sold at Voyager prices. Maybe he come with a boat Fanzone and Sari?

The new Bee needs to be much larger than the Activators version. I don't know where people got the completely insane idea that that thing is in any kind of scale with the larger figures.

Bumblebee sounds weird but interesting. I just hope he's in scale as promised. I expect Grimlock to be a straight repaint with no new accessories. Electrostatic Soundwave sounds cool. Glad to see Arcee more solidly confirmed. I hope she has a car alt mode, not a bike (again).

Probably some screwy comedy scene, like the one in "Sari, Nobody's Home" where Ratchet holds him up by his foot and he's about the size of Ratchet's arm. Animated is terrible for scale consistency. Maybe not "Hoist driving a truck" terrible, but still pretty bad...

activators bumblebee is closer in scale to deluxe ratchet and prowl than the deluxe bumblebee toy is. he's supposed to be smaller so with the toys available, the activators toy works the best.

His size class was never mentioned. Just that his toy was smaller than the Deluxe, and that he'd be coming with a large-ass accessory.

Ratbat, at least, seems likely, given Wyatt's love for the guy.

The Activators is just simply too small in both modes to be anywhere near accurate scale with the other Autobots. If you follow the rule of Prowl being just taller than bumblebee, none of his current toys work. Deluxe is much too big and bulky, and the Activators is too short and inaccurate. Neither is really any closer to being 'in scale' than the other. The Deluxe would have been fine if they had just scaled everything down a tad. If he was just shorter than Prowl in robot mode, his car mode and limbs would have been okay too. His proportions compared to the animation would still be off (the toy has huge feet and large, misshapen arm kibble.) I'm hoping that if they're putting the effort into re-making him, they also spent some time making him actually look like the character we've had presented to us.
