I've been looking forward to this game, and when it was released this afternoon, I downloaded it.
If you're looking for a fun game, avoid this at all costs. I've never played a minigolf game where you HAVE to hit the ball into the area around the hole, or else it's classified as out of bounds, even when it's still on the course, forcing you to start over. I've always played the ball where it lies, so this is just ridiculous. The courses are pretty bland and basic, with only a few holes containing anything even remotely relevant to what you would imagine a minigolf course might have.
Overall, not worth the 900 Wii Points.

Doubt them. Question them. Suspect them.

but the game looked great in screenshots. i did fear that the game wouldn't play as well as the screenshots looked and it turns out those fears were right.

If a game has to assure you twice in the title alone that it's "fun," it probably isn't.
