It's getting less and less likely as time goes on that the current colors are some elaborate prank by Hasbro, with the nice Lioconvoy colors to be in place by the time he hits shelves.

There totally was. When Leo Prime was announced/came out, the Beast Wars Sourcebook and The Ascension was still in that long, Movie-created limbo. At BotCon 2007, I asked Ben, if because of the toy, the name would be changed when the book eventually came out. He said no, because he likes the name LioConvoy.

Even though it never made any friggin' sense in English, ever.

Argh.

Eh, I don't mind the name switch but would prefer Lio Convoy, only due to the lack of BW II fiction in the states. But most likely if BW II were ever translated in English it would most likely be Leo Prime.

On another note, someone needs to change the caption under the picture of the toy on the TFWiki.
