Wow, I'm really going to have to save up for this one. I think I like the silver version better; it looks more like movie Jazz.

Dear god that is a nice Convoy.

He even has double-barreled arm-guns, a la Primal! Awesome.

Well, damn, I wasn't expecting this version to be all that great, but here we are. I thinks I can still pass on it, since it is just another Convoy/Prime, but that is one nice looking toy.

And the silver version continues to look good as well. I was hesitant when I placed the pre-order for him, but I'm glad I did now.

That figure is really nice. I was on the fence about getting it, but now I want it. The Prime collector in me demands I order the Prime/Convoy colored version.

I'd consider buying an all plastic version if he was ever released over here, but then again I don't really have anything he'd fit in with display wise, hmmmmm.

Hm. Post-war Prime?

I'm all over that red one, at least.

Maybe if they do import this, he can be part of a "Altenator Series" for the Universe/anniversary line.

Despite the fact that I have to assume a toy this complex at this size with die-cast parts is going to be awfully fiddly, I'm digging it. I think I like this aesthetic - chunky car parts, but in movie-style nonintuitive configurations.

I like this a lot. The silver needed more contrast, I think.

Plus, I heart Godzilla. I mean, the GT-R

Any Optimus/Convoy that doesn't turn into a shiny monkey on a flying surfboard is made of win as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not terribly big on the idea of Optimus as a car (I mean, the Autobots have how many cars already?) but this looks surprisingly good. Reminds me of Fire Convoy in a lot of ways, with the nonstandard colors on the lower legs and forearms, Gundam hands, "ripped abs," big chest, rounded helmet, large shins with wedge-shaped feet. Slap some fire chief decals on him and he's good to go.

Doesn't do much for me. Change the head, make him plastic and sell him over here and maybe, but as Prime? Naw.

The silver one would make a great Camshaft, even with the Prime-styled head.

I'm going to wait for reviews before buying one of these. It looks nice, but I really think it's going to be the sort of frustratingly over-engineered toy that makes me never want to play with it.

I actually put this aside, but that Red one is pretty damn sexy.

Also, and i regret mentoning it but add some blue to the Silver one and it would be a pretty decent magnus. Just silver instead of white for a change.

Wow, I'm surprised by how much I prefer the silver version. That one looks totally awesome to me, whereas the red and blue one merely looks...impressive. I think it's because I'm hooked on the Movie aesthetic, and while this toy doesn't quite have it, the part arrangment and detail level is, I find, reminiscent of it to some degree...sort of like how Classics Onslaught's legs and such give me a bit of a movie vibe with their layering of parts. The silver here highlights that.

It also pleases me to see the idea of new-mold BTs, at least spiritually, persisting through this Alternity figure.
