Seems to be loading now, albeit slowly. I tried attaching the pics this morning before heading to work, but the file upload system wasn't working. As in, I'd pick the file, hit Upload, and then it'd be Spinny Of Futility for the next several minutes while I did other things before giving up on it.

sweet.....although it'd be sweeter if I had a swoop to do it to. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-wildride.gif)
I need to get out and go on a good toy hunt one of these days. |

I dislike Flickr on many levels, and will not use it. Nor do I feel any need to move to other similar services. I'm not running a commercial site that depends on eyeballs to make money, and I'm not going to worry too much if a few people can't see dvandom.com because their ISPs block it, so long as I can see it. I am, however, getting tired of people pestering me to switch, and it's likely to just make me dig my heels in harder and make LESS effort to be accomodating to their problems.

Images that show the pieces before reassembly but after modification would be of more use.
especially the grey parts in the mace head and the degree of removal needed for the flames. Unless you actually have Swoop it's not easy to understand. Like I don't even know what it looks like before ? |

Well, I kinda overshot the mark on the actual example, hence not including "after" pictures of the flames. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)
I suppose Step 0 should have included "get Swoop", though. They're instructions meant for someone who has the toy and is interested in modding it, though, not a documentary to cover every aspect of things. ---Dave --------------------

That's a whole lot of cutting, so I gave up when I first had it opened. Thanks for the after picture, now I know what it's suppose to look like with that gimmick.

I got about halfway through this, I cut the pars off from step 3 and started on part 2 when I realized it just wasn't worth it since I'd probably end up ruining it.
So I put it back together, glued the pieces I had cut off back on, and that's how it'll stay. |
