Universe Legends: Starscream (Animated), Brawn (G1), Beachcomber (G1), Bumblebee (G1)
Universe Deluxes: Starscream, Cyclonus, Hound, Cheetor
Universe Voyagers: Inferno, Vector Prime
Universe Ultras: Predacon Bruticus
Robot Heroes: Perceptor vs. Hardshell, Cheetor vs. Tankor, Snarl vs. Sharkticon
Animated Deluxes: Bumblebee, Blazing Lockdown, Swindle, Blurr
Animated Voyagers: Skywarp, Shockwave

I take offense at G1 Slag being called Snarl. Should have just been called "Dinobot". I wonder what they'll do when they come to make a new toy of the actual G1 Snarl...

Cybertron Scourge is now a BW era Predacon called Bruticus... hm. Looks good though, bright colors may be too much in a few days when I'm used to seeing the pic.

Vector Prime looks great. But I have no desire to own that mold again.

G1 Bombshell is now called Hardshell. Hmm.

I'd wager he's a RID era Predacon.

Yeah, I just saw he's called Bruticus so obviously he'll be an upgrade to the RiD Bruticus.

Wow. A lot of these look really good.

~As much as I'm not crazy about buying Vector Prime again, that paint looks amazing.
~I'll probably buy Scourge again, but I'll have to look at a side-by-side to be sure this one isn't too similar to the first. BUT, I love the mold.
~Not crazy about Blurr or Soundwave. Swindle, however, is 10 pounds of awesome in a 5 pound bag.
~I love the idea of the minibots as Legends. Great execution on the ones I've seen so far, too.
~I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on Cyclonus. That movie-era Classics shelf is going to look AWESOME!
~Hooray for Hound!

I was excited that I'm only looking for Sentinel Prime and Ultra Magnus right now. Hopefully, these won't be out for a few months so I can let my wallet stop throwing up.

Damn. That Cyclonus looks great. And Brawn's looking fantastic too, even if he is a bit too neon green.

EDIT: And I'm surprised at the Bombshell rename. They used it just a few years ago on a JOE figure.

Holy jive, a RID reference! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

Also, while I realize images taken from projected slideshows might always have color issues.... it sure does look like they changed Cyclonus' colors, doesn't it? http://tformers.com/ig.php?mode=view&a...00&start=40 The face sculpt looked different at first too, but it turns out it was just a different angle. Good to see his jet mode looks good and "complete" without Nightstick blocking the top view.

They had to rename her Bombstrike, if I'm not mistaken.

hm. Starscream is nifty, although I'd've preferred a new deco/character since they were reusing the mold. Inferno continues to look good, as do Hound and Cyclonus.

great recolors; Bruticus is inspired and I am rather tempted by that Vector Prime.

RiD Bruticus!? What a bizarre choice! I may have to buy him on principle.

Really not finding myself all that interested in most of them. Just Swindle, Vector Prime, Longarm, maybe Cyclonus and Hound (and Hound is more for Ravage than his own sake). And the Robot Heroes. I'm willing to leave room to be impressed later by more photos, but for now, a solid "meh".

My thoughts,

All of the new Animated figs look fantastic, but sadly I need to cut back so they'll not get a purchase from me, ah well.

Universe Hound, Cyclonus, and Inferno are instant buys for me. All 3 look fantastic, and I can't WAIT to put them on my shelf!

Universe legends, I'm skipping the Animated ones but getting the G1 ones, but c'mon Hasbro, we need Decepticons as well.

Robot Heroes, they're all adorable as usual, but I stopped getting them ages ago, so pass on these.

Repaints, Starscream is a big WTF?!? A new Seeker would've been nice, I have no interest in getting something I already have, ah well. Vector Prime and Scourge, while I MAY get VP because he looks nice, Scourge is a definate no for me. Had Hasbro made him Hun-grrr like they did with the Legends mold I'dve bought it in a heartbeat, sorry Hasbro.

All in all Universe is the winner for me, bring em on, I'm ready for them!

Hmm. Some neat things there, but a lot of those redecos are pretty out of the blue. The Classics Starscream mold can't survive much longer, and this is what they're putting out? I know getting Starscream into the Anniversary line makes sense, but still. An RiD Bruticus homage is kind of an interesting choice, but instead of Trypticon or Hun-Grr? Don't really need another Vector Prime, he's just kind of "there" though he seems nice enough.

Inferno and Swindle both look fantastic!

That Slag/Sharkticon twopack is adorable! More Dinobots! More!

It's great that Universe Cheetor has a second weapon, but I'm very worried about those horrible shoulders. Also, they made his robot face really catlike. The cheetah mode does look good though.

Cyclonus looks absolutely first rate.

Hound looks like he's been putting off the gym for awhile. The lack of a handheld weapon also doesn't help. And why does he have only one fisthole?

I wish Beachcomber and Brawn were Scouts, but these will still do fine.

Inferno looks big and badass. I sure do miss firetrucks with ladders though.

And dammit, Hasbro. I already have Cryoscourge. It's a perfectly good toy. Why do you have to go out and make a PREDACON version of the mould? You know I'll end up getting it, you jackholes, you.

Oh, and still no Hot Shot or Wreck-Gar pics. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif)

Ug. Do we really need another release of Classics Starscream? I'd rather a much-requested version of Thundercracker or some other character. Even a black Air Raid repaint would have been more interesting.

And I was really hoping for a Trypticon repaint to match the legends version. It was beautiful.

The only one I'm interested in is Vector Prime. Looking forward to my 5th version of that mold.

Cyclonus would've been awesome if he were an ultra. But like I've been saying, jets & space ships should never be deluxe, the deluxe class is for cars! Especially when you have ULTRA Powerglide, Stormcloud & Silverbolt. Cyclonus is a puny little thing.

Can't it? It's "G1," it'll survive as long as Takara wants it to. The Battle Convoy mold is a zombie three times over by now, as are most of its Diaclone and Microchange contemporaries.
