Eh. The deco's better executed than the one on the Botcon exclusive, but it's still pretty much the same idea. Having one, I really don't feel any need to have both. If I were crazy for that, I'd probably grab an Acidstorm to repaint instead.

Hehe...my Skywarp will be the only non-Henkei one of the three '85 jet updates I'll have (Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp.) 'Warp's a rebel. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) And, well, Dirge'll be a Cybertron mold, but hey, it makes sense for him; retain the most frightening alt mode to humans you can find.
So that'll just leave Thrust the odd man out...and Acid Storm IN! (I could always seek out that TRU exclusive Starscream from Cybertron if I really wanted a "Thrust" for lesser prices than the Botcon edition....) Not that the Botcon toys are eternally beyond my grasp; there's just other stuff I'm into now. And besides, while I was sitting on my hands, they made a Springer who fits in with my Classics that I like better, a figure I can waltz into Target and buy. I can't say I'm surprised by the lack of originality in the packaging (I had predicted this in another thread). Disappointed, but not surprised. I imagine Skywarp's package will all be in grayscale. I guess it's too much to ask that the bio cards have actual pictures of them and not just Starscream in gray or blue. Randy --------------------  |
