I like the chrome spoiler on Sunstreaker, but not on Sideswipe. It makes him look much more like Diaclone Sunstreaker than Sideswipe. And judging by the color breakdown on Tankor, I was assuming the HenKei! one would have clear windows. The blue on the cab is also the lightpiping part of the head. As for Streak, I like the black on Silverstreak better than the dark gray here.

At a glance, without doing side-by-side comparisons, they look pretty much the same, except with the addition of ugly, random chrome.

Pity that they seem to be concentrating on chrome rather than on other additional paint detailing in most cases, but I think I like the gray instead of black on Silverstreak.

The reason Tankor's back headpiece is blue is because his entire head is blue, just painted over. The blue part is a separate piece that contains the eyes, yes, but that's an almost standard practice with Transformers figures, in order to give the eyes better definition (or at least, minimize the paint slop around those important details). And given the propensity for chrome usage in the line, I was almost certain that Octane's entire shield/blade would be chromed, mimicking his G1 deco. But no, only the hub part is chromed, making it stick out even more than Hasbro's silver painted piece. |

The Universe Henkei figures definitely have less changes made to the deco than the Classics Henkei figures. It's kind of a shame, as there were a lot of things I was hoping Takara would do. Oh well.

First of all, Hasbro isn't taking as many liberties with the Universe 2 figures as they did with Classics 1. Most figures match the original in more ways. We're not seeing things like Starscream's new jet mode deco, or non-G1 style details like on Bumblebee. Streak looks to use a duller clear color, uses silver on the waist instead of blue, gray instead of black, chrome shoulder missiles, chrome gun, chrome spoiler. The red and the gray/silver may be different. Octane, chrome guns and claw piece, gray upper arms and wheels, much more cool purple rather than warm. Lambor, chrome gun and spoiler, Lambor on license plate instead of SWIPE. I'm really surprised Lambor has the black stripe on the side. The red might be different, but I'm doubting it.
