Nice, I like the Magazine style'D format for the cover. Adds a noce flavour to things. And he sure looks like a jerk.

Dammit, looking at the cover all I hear is "Sexy Back".

Well, I can understand the motivation for putting the wings on the helmet. It's evocative of classical imagery of the god Mercury (also used by the Golden Age Flash). But it just looks like the helmet design is too busy. Vents all over the place too. Sigh. But whatever. Blurr looks alright, I guess.

I'm lovin' the design. *nom nom* And love that it's so much like a magazine cover. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

the magazine style is a nice thought, but Spotlight: Wheelie does a better job of capturing a particular look [i mean, sure, it's because it's ALSO a comic cover layout, but...]

Awesome. I like what they have been doing lately for stand alone Spotlights. Wheelie's retro looking comic cover, and now Blurr's "Racing" styled magazine cover. LOVE IT.

I totally agree with Detective Nightbeat's assessment of Blurr's new winged helmet look! The mere mentioning of the Golden Age Flash makes me wonder if maybe...just maybe Blurr might be tapped into (hardwired into?) a IDW-verse equivalent to DCU's Speed Force?!? Just looking at the smirk on his faceplate...and it's not hard to believe that Blurr could be a little bit of an egotistical jerk in this story. I mean, if he's got abilities far above and beyond any of his Cybertronian brethren...a little snobbery is not out of the question.

QUOTE Ah how I miss the days when individual bots derived their names from their individual powers and abilities! . . . what? Erm. Like Animated, as blatantly demonstrated in "Autobot Camp"? I don't . . . what? . . . what? Western Transformer names have always used the same formula. The only exceptions are the '86 Movie characters, Cybertronian characters created by Furman, and Beast Wars. I. e., Imamotersykl, Phrutiaxx(x), and Armadilloficatonizer, respectively. -------------------- QUOTE(ChessPieceFace) But remember, Obama's the Magic Negro.
